Star Wars: Galactic Heroes, says starwars.com

Star Wars: Galactic Heroes

The Star Wars universe expands again, and the Force is strong with this one! George Lucas recently announces that he’s working on a new Star Wars animated series, aiming to skew younger than Cartoon Network’s current Clone Wars series. The folks at Skywalker Ranch are currently in pre-production on Star Wars: Galactic Heroes, a series based on a line of Star Wars toys and action figures of the same name. According to sources at starwars.com, there’s no official word on if this will appear on Cartoon Network or another channel, despite the success of Clone Wars, but it’s still very early on in the development process – so early, the toon is only officially known by it’s code name, Squishies. And nothing says “Dark Side” like the term “Squishies”.
