Voltron Force: Rogue Trip Review

Voltron Force: Rogue Trip Review

The name, Dudley, and his grating, retainer-lisped voice, will forever be emblazened in our minds. It’s not that there is anything wrong with that name, per se, but there hasn’t been too many Dudley cartoon characters that have ever been really cool. For instance, there was Dudley Do-Right, a bumbling, clumsy, Canadian Mountie, who always meant well, but never really seemed to be the confident hero. He didn’t exactly start a craze for new parents to put that name at the top of the baby name list. Neither will this Dudley. In the latest Voltron Force episode, (Voltron Force: Episode 15: Rogue Trip), Dudley is an ultra-obsessed fan of the Classic Voltron, who meets the Cadets, and wants to show them why he is Voltron’s biggest fan. Only, his intentions get lost in the translation, as he ends up biting off more than he can chew.

Dudley Puppy of T.U.F.F. Puppy ready for season 3 on Nickelodeon

It’s not even been a full year since T.U.F.F. Puppy originally debuted on Nickelodeon, back in October 2010, and yet the series is already producing a third season! Score another major hit for Butch Hartman (after The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom), TUFF Puppy season three will include 20 brand new episodes of Dudley Puppy’s adventures. With a voice cast that includes Grey DeLisle, Jeff Bennett, Daran Norris, Matthew Taylor, and Jerry Trainor as the voice of Dudley Puppy, and plans to further expand the reach of the toon to places like Nickelodeon Australia, it seems like T.U.F.F. Puppy (aka Turbo Undercover Fighting Force) will be thwarting D.O.O.M. for years to come.

Nickelodeon fans, be sure to TOON in tomorrow morning (Saturday, October 2nd at 11am) as Nick will debut their latest animated series, T.U.F.F. Puppy! Although he’s still just a pup, Dudley’s got the heart of a pack of full-grown dogs. His mother always told him, “Good dogs tells the truth, never take what doesn’t belong to them and never chew their butts in public.” Who wouldn’t follow that advice?? Though chasing bones may excite him more than chasing bad guys, Dudley Puppy gives all he’s got to keeping the streets of Petropolis crime-free. That doesn’t mean things always go smoothly. Dudley’s a loose cannon and he’s got a way of messing things up before he fixes them. That’s why the Chief paired him up with his purrfect partner, Kitty Katswell. Together they’re bringing D.O.O.M. down, one thug at a time.

Dudley, a crime-fighting super hero, has everything going for him; strength, speed, agility, and a weakness for… BONES!!! Yeah, he’s not human, he’s a dog. A puppy, in fact. More specifically, a TUFF Puppy. Nickelodeon’s new T.U.F.F. Puppy series brings Dudley and his partner, Kitty Katswell, up against the world’s super villains, like Verminious Snaptrap and D.O.O.M. the Diabolical Order Of Mayhem. The toon, which is slated to launch on Nick in the next few weeks, was created by Butch Hartman, the guy behind The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom. Take a look at the teaser trailer and let us know if you’ll be watching this fall!
