Duel Masters Victory V takes Japan this weekend

Are you hyped for the premiere of Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters on The Hub this June? Well, that’s not the only Duel Masters fun the world will be seeing this year.

TV Tokyo, ShoPro, and Takara Tomy have jointly announced that a brand new Japanese Duel Masters series, Victory V, will begin broadcast this Saturday at 8:30AM JST. The series is a sequel to last year’s Duel Masters Victory, which saw former franchise lead Shobu Kirifuda’s brother, Katsu Kirifuda, take the helm. The new CG series will air for fifteen minutes every Saturday.

Kaijudo rises onto The Hub, and stores this Summer

Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast have announced at this year’s New York Toy Fair their intent to launch Kaijudo. Kaijudo is a brand new cross-platform media brand built on the core of former Wizards trading card game Duel Masters. This new series will follow Ray Okamoto, a 14 year old high school student who once finds out he has the ability to summon beasts when he’s confronted by a bully. Together, Ray and his friends must stop an evil force from enslaving these creatures and using them for evil.

The Hub 2011-2012 toons: Transformers, Littlest Pet Shop, Batman

The Hub 2011-2012 toons: Transformers, Littlest Pet Shop, Batman

When The Hub premiered on our television screens, it graced us with old cartoons that we know and love. We’re talking G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Conan the Adventurer, Men in Black: The series, Batman Beyond, Transformers Generation 1, and others. But they didn’t limit their offerings to 80’s and 90’s cartoons — instead, the Discovery and Hasbro venture broadcast original animated toons like: G.I. Joe: Renegades, Transformers: Prime, My Little Pony, and much more. To add to that list of new original animated shows the Hub announced its 2011-2012 program line up — even including a Warren Buffet animated series. Take a look at the Hub’s line-up for 2011-2012

The Hub announces Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Master

The network only debuted about 6 months ago, but already The Hub has made major strides into the world of animation, offering instant classics in the re-imagined Transformers, GI Joe, My Little Pony, and other such toons. Now, The Hub is bringing out original titles, once again taking claim of the landscape. One of it’s first offerings is Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Master, which follows a teenage boy who discovers a world where creatures with special destructive powers rule. Based on the Duel Masters trading card game, the Hasbro Studios series focuses on the quest to master the ancient art of Kaijudo, just as the TCG sets out to do. Look for Rise of the Duel Master later this year on The Hub.
