Bruce Timm and Jim Krieg Red Carpet Interviews for Batman: Gotham by Gaslight Premiere

We would like to thank Bruce Timm and Jim Krieg for their time on the red carpet in Washington DC. They pulled out all the stops to make this film special for DC Comics and Batman fans alike. We hope you are able to see Batman: Gotham by Gaslight to learn why Bruce and Jim thought there needed to be more suspects in this animated adaptation than there were in the original graphic novel, so the audience could really get caught up in the “whodunit” and they could stretch it out to 74 minutes.

ToonBarn talks to Michael Price about LEGO Star Wars: Menace of the Sith

Michael Price, Writer and Executive Producer of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles

ToonBarn is once again honored to have Michael Price as our guest for an interview about LEGO Star Wars: Menace of the Sith, the second of a three-part animated mini-series called The Yoda Chronicles on Cartoon Network. This second installment will be premiering at 8 PM ET on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, on Cartoon Network.

ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell talked to Michael Price, the writer and Executive Producer of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles. Michael, as most of you know by now, has been a full-time staff writer for The Simpsons for many years. Since we have interviewed him 3 times prior to this, including our interview at Times Square in New York City, during the unveiling of the World’s Largest LEGO Model, a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter, we thought we would just get right into this next episode of The Yoda Chronicles.

Exclusive Interview with Michael Price: Writer/Exec. Prod. of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles

Michael Price - Writer/Exec Prod of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles

Michael Price, the long-tenured staff writer for The Simpsons, has somehow found himself at the top of the Animated Star Wars food chain. Since the recent closing of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Animated Series (after 5 successful seasons), and the postponement of Star Wars: Detours (from the makers of Robot Chicken), it appears that LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles is the only new Star Wars Animation in sight. With his credit as an Executive Producer and Writer for LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, Michael Price is now at the pinnacle of a franchise that has a new TV special, a new Video Game app, a contest, a web series, and comic book series all centered around a 3-part story that he wrote about Master Jedi Yoda and his Padawans.

So, you can imagine that nobody is more surprised than Michael Price, that he has found himself in this envious position. He gets to make animated stories where all the characters and objects are made from LEGO pieces, where the animation and sound are the best in the business, where the music is provided by none other than John Williams himself, and where the humorous and action-packed story will entertain millions of fans of all ages.
