NCircle brings The Gruffalo to DVD August 16th

On August 16th, go Gruffalo! Which, I suppose technically, means to go mouse, since the Gruffalo really is just a mouse. But there’s so much more to it than that! Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler created a whole world starring just a wee little mouse who uses his smarts to evade a dangerous terrain. There’s a fox, an owl, a snake, and other typically challenging figures, but this mouse tops them all in the fun adventure. Now, on August 16th, NCircle Entertainment is bringing an animated version of The Gruffalo to DVD. Narrated by Helena Bonham Carter, the toon features the voices of Tom Wilkinson, John Hurt, and Robbie Coltrane. The tale originally launched in the UK on the BBC a few years back, and has been waiting to make its trip around the world ever since. Check out a teaser trailer for the original production
