Camp Pokemon is targeted towards kids aged six to eight, featuring a variety of minigames – from fun activities such as Pokeball Throw and Find to Pokemon, to ones that are more suited to budding young Pokedex readers such as the Pokemon quiz. The app also has a reward system that rewards Pokemon pins as prizes, which can then be used to decorate photos on the device.

Cartoon Network Launches New Micro-Network, Cartoon Network Anything

Cartoon Network has recently launched the micro-network Cartoon Network Anything, making them the first ever TV brand to debut a network specifically designed for the small screen. Pokemon TCG Makes Its Way to iPad

As previously announced at the World Championships in Washington DC this summer, the online version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game has been launched on the iPad platform. This will be a big boon to fans of the iconic TCG that no longer have the ability to collect and store the cards (for a number of reasons, I’m sure.) The Pokemon TCG Online game lets players collect, trade, and play on their iPads instead of lugging a bunch of cards around.

iOS Devices to Get Their Own Pokemon Card Game

There have been several Pokemon-related mobile apps, but so far not a single one of them was a proper game on par with the original games or the TCG. But that may change soon, as Polygon – while reporting straight out of the World Championships in Washington DC, has confirmed that an online version of the Trading Card Game will be making its way to iOS devices:

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Mobile Game Launched

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon have just announced the launch of a new mobile game tie-in with the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The game is now available for iOS, Android, and Amazon devices.

Players will be tasked with taking back the streets of New York City using one of the four turtles. The game will feature exciting and intuitive combat controls, upgradeable weapons, and a Turtle Power super attack. The players will be able to choose between two unique styles of play: Story Mode, where the Turtles learn to be the warriors they become in the movie, and Survival Mode, in which players must stay alive against endless waves of enemies. Players will also be able to test their skills with in-game challenges and compete against their friends’ high scores.

Final Fantasy VII’s G-Bike Mini-Game Coming to iOS and Android

One of the most memorable parts of Square Enix’s (back when they were still just Squaresoft) iconic PSX RPG, Final Fantasy VII, was the G-Bike minigame, which is essentially a racing mini-game that has a Bike-riding Cloud trying to escape from the Shinra Building while being pursued by Shinra troops. Similar to Road Rash, you had the option of hitting your pursuers with a melee attack (using the big-arse Buster Sword) or just evading them completely.

Nickelodeon and Lima Sky Launch Spongebob Squarepants-Themed Doodle Jump App

Nickelodeon and Lima Sky have recently joined forces in order to globally launch a brand new Spongebob Squarepants-themed mobile app based on the popular Doodle Jump App. Titled “Doodle Jump Spongebob Squarepants,” the app puts players in a 2D level-based jumper game and gives them control of SpongeBob as he jumps up and through Bikini Bottom locales, all the while avoiding infamous villains such as Man Ray and Dirty Bubble, as well as various environmental hazards.

Doodle Jump Spongebob Squarepants is available now for the iOS platform, with an Android version reportedly on the way. Doodle Jump SpongeBob marks Lima Sky’s first co-brand with an animated series for their iconic Doodle Jump game.
