Pokemon TCG Makes Its Way to iPad

As previously announced at the World Championships in Washington DC this summer, the online version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game has been launched on the iPad platform. This will be a big boon to fans of the iconic TCG that no longer have the ability to collect and store the cards (for a number of reasons, I’m sure.) The Pokemon TCG Online game lets players collect, trade, and play on their iPads instead of lugging a bunch of cards around.

Konami Releases New DOMO Game for iOS Devices

Cartoon Network Releases Ben 10 Slammers Card Game for iOS

It’s a good day to be a Ben 10 fan, especially if you’re a Ben 10 fan who owns an iOS device, as Cartoon Network has launched a new card game based on the eponymous galactic protector. Dubbed Ben 10 Slammers, the game’s storyline has Sumo Slammers recognizing Ben 10’s mass market appeal to the point of creating a card-battling game based on his exploits. Having caught wind of this, Ben Tennyson decides to prove that he’s the best at his own game, going against friend and foe alike, human and non-human, in a quest to become the one true Galactic Champion.

As expected of any card battling game, Ben 10 Slammers will require a little bit of strategy and skill in deck-building, as you face off against 24 different opponents in an exciting single player mode. Or if you’re feeling confident, you can enter the multiplayer mode and challenge other people to see who’s really the best. DreamWorks’ Turbo App Reaches 20M Downloads

It seems like box office numbers are not the only thing that Dreamworks Animation has going for them, as their Turbo Racing League mobile app has reached a landmark 20 million download since its initial launch. The game is based on DreamWorks’ Animation’s CG animated feature Turbo, and has maintained its place as the No.1 most downloaded racing app for 10 weeks now. It also won the $1,000,000 Shell-Out Contest from Verizon.

Trigger Happy Launches Toon Hero App

New Zealand-based software developer Trigger Happy has recently debuted a new social storytelling app for iOS users, titled “Toon Hero,” which is an app that helps kids create their own animated yarns using famous characters. The beauty of the app is that it doesn’t require any training nor artistic ability, but helps foster skills that will be practical and useful in the child’s day to day life.
