As the sequel to Marvel’s first Iron Man film, we now can see how the Disney owned company has developed a franchise. The second film also gave us a deeper glimpse into Tony Stark’s family life, with scenes of his father, Howard Stark, and how the elder Stark was a pivotal player in the hero world before there was an Iron Man. Playing on that idea, Marvel has cast Dominic Cooper to play an even younger version of Iron Man’s dad Howard Stark in the retro scenes of the upcoming Captain America film due out July 22nd, 2011, Captain America: The First Avenger. Marvel is creeping closer and closer to getting the entire universe of super heroes on film in the Avengers!
