LEGO® Star Wars™ The Yoda Chronicles - Attack of the Jedi Premieres on CN this November

It seems like the concern of Star Wars fans over their favorite franchise moving to a different network (due to the LucasFilm acquisition) are premature, as Cartoon Network is not yet done with all things Jedi. Case in point, this November 27 at 8:00 PM ET/PT, Cartoon Network will be premiering LEGO® Star Wars™ The Yoda Chronicles’ third and final special, titled Attack of the Jedi.

In Attack of the Jedi, Obi-Wan finds out that several major Sith Lords and their apprentices are gathered at Mustafar. The Jedi then decided to hurry to Mustafar and destroy the Sith once and for all, only to find out that it’s a trap, resulting in the Republic Fleet being destroyed. It is now up to Yoda, Anakin, and the Padawans to travel to Endor and find JEK so that they can mount a rescue.

Michael Price, Writer and Executive Producer of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles

ToonBarn is once again honored to have Michael Price as our guest for an interview about LEGO Star Wars: Menace of the Sith, the second of a three-part animated mini-series called The Yoda Chronicles on Cartoon Network. This second installment will be premiering at 8 PM ET on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, on Cartoon Network.

ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell talked to Michael Price, the writer and Executive Producer of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles. Michael, as most of you know by now, has been a full-time staff writer for The Simpsons for many years. Since we have interviewed him 3 times prior to this, including our interview at Times Square in New York City, during the unveiling of the World’s Largest LEGO Model, a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter, we thought we would just get right into this next episode of The Yoda Chronicles.

NYCC Interview: Ashley Eckstein from Star Wars: The Clone Wars

ToonBarn's Marc Morrell interviewed Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano, from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, at New York Comic Con 2012

Here’s how awesomely cool Ashley Eckstein is: She is one of the busiest people on the planet, but somehow, she managed to give us an interview on Sunday Afternoon, after only meeting her for the first time on the previous Friday Night.

It was a real pleasure to meet Ashley and her husband David in New York City at the “The Mary Sue/Her Universe” Party on the Friday Night of New York Comic Con Weekend. Ashley was cosplaying as a Star Trek Zombie (Spock Hoodie), so she wasn’t immediately recognizable.

The hit CG animated Star Wars spin-off, The Clone Wars, will be returning this Saturday, Sept 29 at 9:30am, and to give you an idea on what to expect, a gallery of images and a couple of preview clips from the season premiere were released online.

The Season Five premiere episode is titled ‘Revival’, and will pick up where the season four finale left off, with Darth Maul and Savage Opress reunited and hellbent on revenge. They went on a galaxy-spanning quest to spread terror, forcibly recruiting Hondo and his pirates along the way as they invade planet after planet, on their way to bring the fight to the Jedi. Brave Jedi try to curtail the brothers’ reign of terror, only to realize that they’d have to fight for their lives instead.

Krell leads the Republic as The General

Tonight, Cartoon Network begins the second installment in the epic four-part Umbara story arc, where it seems like the fate of the entire Republic army is at stake. As the clone troops, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and others make their way onto the shadowy planet of Umbara, it becomes clear that their military mission hasn’t gone as smoothly as they hoped. In fact, Obi-Wan and several other groups are having trouble just holding their own ground. Without mistake, the battalion force needs the leadership of the stern General Krell, for it is his attack on the airbase that could win or lose the day.
