Thursday, September 9th. That’s all you Teletoon fans have to keep track of. 9/9/10. It’s that Thursday, from 6pm – 9pm, that Teletoon will feature Extra Awesome Thursday; a three-hour programming block featuring all kinds of cartoon goodness. We’re talking about Total Drama World Tour, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Johnny Test, Jimmy Two-Shoes, Spliced, Stoked, and maybe a few other surprises. Formerly known as “Really, Really, Really Awesome”, the Extra Awesome Thursday evening party is just what Teletoon fans need to get the fall rocking. Action fans, prepare for liftoff. Cartoon Network’s Friday night lineup is so jam-packed with cartoon goodness, it’s difficult to believe it fits in a single evening. It all starts off with Johnny Test at 6pm, in Johnny Grow Your Own Monster. At 6:30, we get Adventure Time repeats City of Thieves and Witch’s Garden, immediately followed by the second part of Total Drama Island’s Not So Happy Campers and Batman: Brave and the Bold’s Mystery in Space. Then? It’s prime time! The main event starts at 8pm with Ben 10 Ultimate Alien’s Fused and Generator Rex’s Breach at 8:30pm. The 9-10pm hour leading up to Adult Swim is filled with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, showcasing Hostage Crisis and Holocron Heist. I’m out of breath just writing this up!!

If there’s one thing that Cookie Jar Entertainment is good at, it’s showcasing its huge collection of top-notch animated hits. This year, the company is strutting large with some impressive titles under it’s belt. included in the mix are CBC’s Doodlebops Rockin’ Road Show, season five of Caillou, Magi-Nation, the 15th season of Arthur, and the fourth season of Johnny Test. But that’s not all, as the Cookie-named company will also stock up on it’s classic older toons, like the CG Sherlock Holmes, Super Mario World, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Johnny Test is one of those shows that continues to grab new fans on a daily basis. Some were there, all the way back when it debuted on the KidsWB. But others have since jumped on with the latest season, the fourth, which started on Teletoon last September, and Cartoon Network in November. The show, from Cookie Jar Entertainment and the creator of The Fairly OddParents, will see 26 episodes in all during season 4, and likely 26 more to resign for next year.
