You’ll get to see the Justice League multiverse explode in this one, which gives us a chance to see the Batman and Robin from the 60’s TV show, as well as the Batmobile. Batman and Superman will also have to go to counseling to improve their friendship. This special is the perfect kick-off for the hilarious Season 8 that follows.
It was well written by Kevin Shinick, who kept the personalities of all characters, including the members of KISS, intact. I just want to find out what “cough syryp” he was taking when he wrote some of these scenes.
These are always fun interviews, because these people know how to have fun. You would have fun too if you had the number 1 rated cartoon for kids. When I interviewed Scott Menville, I gave him a picture I drew of his character, and he loved it so much, he wanted me to sign it for him. Totally cool!
One of the highlights from the panel was when Matt Senreich admitted that he finds violence in animation is very funny. Upon which, Seth Green joked, “OK Matt, we’ll post that on Twitter, #ViolenceIsFunny”, which brought a roar of laughter from the crowd.
Grant and Vanderbilt said, “Team Unicorn is in the spirit of Sailor Moon and The Powerpuff Girls with a sprinkling of Voltron and Josie and the Pussycats.”
