Nickelodeon will be celebrating the holidays tonight via their first full-length stop-motion animated special, It’s a SpongeBob Christmas!, which will air at 8:00 PM ET/PT. The special will use animation techniques inspired by the classic Rankin/Bass specials (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Clause is Comin’ to Town) and will feature the voice of John Goodman as Santa Claus.
Nickelodeon has just teamed up with The Children’s Place in order to celebrate the holidays with a brand new, limited edition t-shirt inspired by the half-hour stop motion Christmas special It’s a SpongeBob Christmas!, which airs on Nickelodeon on Dec. 6 at 8 PM. The new line will consist of long-sleeve cotton t-shirts that will retail in more than 900 The Children’s Place retail stores all over the country from Nov 27 to Dec 3, with the shirts’ price starting at $10.
Tonight, at 8pm, there’s a mystery to be solved. A mystery, that is, with a twistery. So who do you call for emergencies such as these? There’s only one man up for the job — er, one sponge, that is. SpongeBob SquarePants stars in Nickelodeon’s Mystery with a Twistery in tonight’s special. Mr. Krabs (voiced by Clancy Brown, who also plays Lex Luthor on Cartoon Network’s Justice League) has grown tired of dealing with his villainous rival Plankton, so he sends his secret recipe for Krabby Patty burgers to a far-away chest for safekeeping. Unfortunately, as soon as it’s out of his sight, Mr. Krabs forgets the recipe and sends SpongeBob and Patrick to retrieve it. Little do they know, Plankton follows them, bent on stealing the secret for his own. At 8pm, it’s game time.
This Thursday, November 11th, an unspeakable crime will be committed. Everyone has a motive. Everyone is a suspect. And it’s up to SpongeBob to solve the Mystery with a Twistery! This brand new SpongeBob SquarePants special has its sights set on big ratings for Nickelodeon, as the Porous One sets off on the adventure to retrieve the Krabby Patty recipe for Mr. Krabs. The event starts up at 8pm that evening, with nothing being solved until the final moments of the thirty minute presentation. Will you be able to solve the riddles before SpongeBob and Patrick?
