Disney Jr. Schedules Mickey and the Roadster Racers for 2017

Disney Jr. is currently developing a new preschool-targeted adventure series using iconic Disney characters with a racing theme. Titled ‘Mickey and the Roadster Racers,’ the series is slated for a 2017 release and will feature Mickey Mouse and the gang; Pluto, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald. The hybrid CG animated/live action series will take the characters and the madcap auto racing concept as the Disney crew and their unique personalized vehicles race around the globe.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers is geared towards kids aged two to seven, with the episodes containing lessons that emphasize the importance of friendship, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. You can check out the teaser below:

On November 8th, Disney invites fans young and old to blast off with the release of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Space Adventure on DVD. In honor of Adventure Day, not to be confused with Adventure Time, Professor Von Drake is sending Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy into the far reaches of outer space. Zooming through the stars in the Clubhouse Rocket, the group searches for Treasure Stars to reach their ultimate goal, the Out of this World Treasure. Join the crew to the Moon, Mars, and the Rings of Saturn, meeting aliens, Moon Men Chip and Dale, Martian Mickey, and Pluto from Pluto — all while dodging Space Pirate Pete.

Fans of Square Enix and Disney’s Kingdom Hearts series are incredibly loyal to their story lines and their characters. Through the years, they’ve seen many chapters come and go, always with mascots from the House of Mouse, but there’s always an urge to return to what they’ve enjoyed in the past. Truth be told Tetsuya Nomura, the game’s producer, often feels the same, revealing he’d love to see Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You. So will Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance deliver on that? What will this mean for a future series or sidequest? This November, Disney Junior will give one of their most famous icons their own show: not Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, or Donald, we’re talking about Minnie Mouse! The new short-form animated series will be called Minnie’s Bow-Toons, and will star both Minnie Mouse and her best friend Daisy Duck, as well as occasional visits from Clarabelle the cow. Minnie will star as hostess, party planner, fashion consultant, tour guide, and more, interacting with the regulars across the Disney universe.

Later this fall, Mickey Mouse takes the Clubhouse to outer space. Sound impossible? C’mon, this is Mickey! In fact, that’s how the House of Mouse is dubbing this latest DVD, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Space Adventure. The DVD and Digital copy combo pack will hit store shelves on November 8th. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Daisy head to the Moon, Mars, Saturn, even a Mystery Planet, all while racing Space Pirate Pete and Quoodles find Treasure Stars and Professor Von Drake’s space treasure. One such game, Disneyland Adventures, caught special attention from ToonBarn followers, due to the obvious links to animation. The title recreates a large amount of the Disneyland theme park, that is normally only available to folks in California. Now that its all digitized, you’ll be able to view attractions like Alice in Wonderland, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain and Matterhorn Bobsleds from your living room! E3 2011: Disneyland Adventures for XBox Kinect

Ahhh Disneyland. The happiest place on Earth. …and on Xbox 360? At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, aka E3 2011, Microsoft’s keynote conference confirmed that Disneyland Adventures is coming on the 360 for Kinect. This unique video game lets you have fun and play around in a virtual copy of Disneyland. The entire theme park is duplicated for your (and your avatar’s!) enjoyment. You can stroll around, check out the attractions, and even play mini games with characters like Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan! When can you play? Well, truthfully, we don’t know yet, as the release date has yet to become official. But rest assured, soon enough, you can play with your friends at Disneyland, without ever leaving your living room.
