Monster Entertainment to Present 3rd Season of Jungle Beat at MIPCOM

Monster Entertainment will be presenting the third season of Sunrise Production’s hit CG animated series Jungle Beat at the upcoming MIP Junior. The 3rd season is already under production and is expected to finish in January 2015. The 3rd season is part of a major brand expansion campaign that includes confirmation on a 4th season, with a 5th and 6th one being planned depending on the performance of the current season.

Fresh off their successful screening at MIP Junior, Monster Entertainment has managed to strike new deals for their hit I’m A series for various territories, including the UK with I’m a Creepy Crawly and I’m a Dinosaur, via the CSC channel Tiny Pop, while I’m a Monster has been acquired by BBC Alba. The series that started it all, I’m an Animal, is currently under license to Nickelodeon for the UK. In other regions, I’m an Animal has been licensed in South Korea by United Media while Norwegian Airlines have secured more episodes of I’m an Animal, I’m a Creepy Crawly, and I’m a Dinosaur.

Rocket Cartoons Launches 3 New Shows at MIP Jr.


Costa Rican indie studio Rocket Cartoons is all set to make a splash at the upcoming MIP Junior via the launch of three new shows, through distribution partners Monster Entertainment (Ireland) and Awol Animation (France).

The shows consist of the preschool-oriented Yum Yum and You, along with its holiday special A Christmas with Yum Yum and You. Both had a soft introduction by AWOL at last spring’s MIPTV, and focuses on a cute little Cyclops that is trying to learn how to handle everyday life.

BRB Internacional to Present Filly Funtasia at MIP Jr and MIPCOM


BRB Internacional has recently announced that the first batch of episodes of the new animated series Filly Funtasia will be presented at the upcoming MIP Junior and MIPCOM marketplaces. The series will be produced by Screen 21/Black Dragon, and will be available in dynamic 3D HD. All 26 episodes of the series will be ready for broadcast in early 2014.
