Pixar’s Party Central Short to be Screened Along with Muppets Most Wanted

Monsters University fans who want another go at the franchise should watch the theatrical release of Muppets Most Wanted, because that’s where Pixar will be unveiling their newest Monsters University-related short, Party Central. The short was directed by Monsters U. story supervisor Kelsey Mann (The Critic), was originally produced to play with Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur. But after director Bob Peterson was removed from the movie, the pic was delayed from May 2014 to November 2015.

Party Central will feature John Goodman and Billy Crystal reprising their roles as Sully and Mike, both of whom will be attending a party at the Oozma Kappa frat house. The short will be focusing on the duo’s attempts to make the party fun after their initial plan failed.

Final Trailer for Monsters University

Pixar has just released the final trailer for the upcoming Monsters, Inc prequel, Monsters University, which follows the series’ original protagonists Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan during their college days. The prequel will show that the top scarers weren’t always an inseparable pair. In fact, the two mismatched monsters couldn’t stand each other when they first started sharing a dorm room. Monsters University will follow the two monsters as they overcome their differences and become the best of friends. Check out the trailer below:

New Clip From Monsters University

A new official clip has just been released for Monsters University, this time showing the young Mike and Sully going through some really painful teething problems while sharing a dorm room in college. The clip is a little bit on the short side, but it’s enough to show you that Billy Crystal and John Goodman are still in top form and still play well off of each other. You can watch the clip below:

New Full Length Trailer for Monsters University

A new full-length trailer has been released for Monsters University, with the trailer looking like a late 90s/early 2000s college comedy film, as it introduces Mike, Sulley, and the rest of the cast via bits and pieces of the scenes, which already serve as a good way of showing how funny the film will be. It is worth noting that the trailer shows Mike and Sulley not always being best of friends. In fact, it clearly shows that they were rivals during their college days, with Sulley being the dominant force. You can check out the trailer below:

The hit CG-animated feature Monsters Inc. will be returning to cinemas with a 3D makeover next year, and Pixar is reminding us by releasing a poster featuring one of the protagonists, the one-eyed monster Mike, having some–well—difficulties with a pair of stereoscopic 3D glasses, which requires two eyes to work.

Disney’s D23 Expo 2011 teases The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs

Disney's D23 Expo 2011 teases The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs

When we’re done with Monsters, we’ll get Dinosaurs; so says Pixar at Disney’s D23 Expo 2011. This weekend, the company unveiled two new films with vague bits of teaser information, both scheduled to hit big screen after the Monsters Inc prequel, Monsters University, which hits on June 21st, 2013. The first of the two, set to be in theaters on November 27th, 2013, will focus on Dinosaurs, and was given the comically pleasing working title of The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs. The premise, according to director Bob Peterson (who also voiced Roz from Monster’s, Inc. and UP’s dog, Dug) asks what would happen if dinosaurs never went extinct? Unfortunately for Toy Story’s Rex, the concept seems to spread past his short reach. Unfortunately, not much more is known at this time, other than the glimpses of the sneak peeks, which feature a boy, a large brontosaurus, a pterodactyl, some mosquitoes, and more. What do you think the film will be about?
