In support of the upcoming SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, Paramount and Nickelodeon movies have released an exclusive look at Spongebob’s new music video, Thank Gosh it’s Monday.

The music video Thank Gosh it’s Monday aims to celebrate what they refer to as The Day of Positivity, which is a new unofficial holiday that aims to replace people’s usual negative outlook towards Mondays. You can check out the exclusive video below:

With Slowpoke’s natural predilection towards hanging back and chilling out while the rest of your team bust out the offense, it’s not surprising that his music video is a reggae one, as the genre is known for encouraging a peaceful, laid-back lifestyle. The official Youtube channel of The Pokemon Company affirms this by releasing a new music video called “Donai Yanen Yadon” (How You’re a Slowpoke After All.)

Artist Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) has just released a brand new music video for his single “Get Away,” which features Major Lazer and Angela Hunte. Everybody who’s up to date with the artist’s career knows that he was rechristned by a Rastafarian priest while visiting Jamaica a couple of years ago, which is followed by a change in his musical direction, adopting a more reggae and overall positive feel to his songs. His newest video also shows the cheerful new direction, as it parodies a very popular kids’ franchise, Pokemon.

We’re only a couple of weeks away from the September 9 Japanese premiere of the CG animated film adaptation of Space Pirate Captain Harlock, and Universal Music Japan has seen it fit to tease everyone with a new music video for the movie’s theme song, Tokiko Kato’s “L’Amour dans ton Coeur.”

While modern fans may expect a more contemporary theme song (similar to the ones used by FF VII Advent Children, featuring a mix of industrial rock and opera), Tokiko Kato’s slow operatic approach still fits in well with the film, especially if you consider the story from the original.

Yesterday, Cartoon Network concluded their birthday-themed programming with the global premiere of a sweeping, nostalgia inducing music video specifically created to celebrate the network’s 20 years of service as they brought laughter to children and adults alike all over the world.

The music video features an original composition from highly acclaimed artist collaborative Mad Decent, which consists of M.I.A., Major Lazer, Beyonce, No Doubt, and Usher. It also features original animation done by London-based studio ILOVEDUST, with the video itself playing host to nearly 100 cartoon characters that all contributed to Cartoon Network’s massive success and made a mark in the hearts of viewers.
