Deadline.com recently reported that Disney has just pulled the plug on the production of Henry Selick’s (Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach) upcoming stop-motion project. Disney has given Selick the option to shop around and find another studio that will fund the project.
Oscar-nominated director Henry Selick is set to direct a stop-motion adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book for Disney, according to a Deadline.com report. This will mark the second time for Selick when it comes to handling Gaiman’s stories, as the director’s previous works include the big screen adaptation of Gaiman’s Coraline.
