Prepare to witness the Dark Knight, alongside many of his most famed allies and infamous foes, in an eye-popping anime display you’ve never seen before when Warner Bros. Japan, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment present Batman Ninja. The all-new, feature-length animated film arrives on Digital starting April 24, 2018, and Blu-ray™ Steelbook ($29.98 SRP), Blu-ray™ Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP) and DVD ($19.98 SRP) on May 8, 2018.
Combine the song with the Teen Titans, CeeLo Green, Fallout Boy, and B.E.R. themselves, all joining forces to stop the tyranny of an evil dragon, all in an animation style that hearkens back to the Heavy Metal days of the early 80s, and you have the makings of a worldwide phenomenon that people will continue to cherish for years to come.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will host the film’s World Premiere at New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 6. ToonBarn Head Writer Marc Morrell will be there to view the premiere and get interviews with cast and crew.

Stephen Sharples talked to ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell at New York Comic Con. The conversation includes a nostalgic look at 60’s Batman, whose level will make older gamers very happy and leave kids scratching their heads, while the kids will enjoy the expansive gameplay of more than 150 characters from the DC Universe, with movie-like animated cut scenes and tons of possible combinations.
The characters, which include 60’s Adam West Batman, Duck Dodgers as Green Loontern, Condiment King and Bat Mite, are just the tip of the iceberg. There are cameos by real life heroes, like Jim Lee, Geoff Johns, Kevin Smith, and Conan O’Brien. Beyond Gotham means that all of these characters are not just restricted to one city, but the whole universe!
This is the first time many of the heroes are meeting each other, and it doesn’t necessarily feel like “Superfriends”, if you know what that 70’s and 80’s cartoon was like.
ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell was on the New York Comic Con Show Floor to talk to Chris Wofford, CEO of AcidFree Gallery, makers of Limited Edition Licensed Prints from franchises such as Transformers, G.I. Joe and Voltron.
At New York Comic Con, ToonBarn captured the Voltron 30th Anniversary Preview Panel, so you can see what WEP plans to release next year.
The phrase, “Form like Voltron” has been used in the media vernacular to signify a group of people coming together with one common goal that they share. Whether it’s an athletic team, a corporation, event organizers, or people working on a project, Voltron defines unity of purpose in this day and age.
