Ninja = cool. Chubby = insult. Chubby Ninja = a ridiculously fun game. It’s not exactly perfect math or anything (sorry, Adventure Time, nothing Algebraic here) but the results are good with us! The goal of this game is to jump and fight through the Cave of Trials to become a Ninja Master. As if you didn’t already have enough inspiration to become a Ninja Master, now the flash games are telling you to do so! Well, who are we to argue with destiny – let’s sit down and play this game now!

GamesRadar recently had the chance to check out the upcoming TMNT video game: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up (those lucky guys!!).  Here’s a bit of what they had to say about the fighter:

How refreshing to see a licensed game for the sake of a licensed game, and not just as part of a painful cross-media PR campaign for a film or cartoon… yes, it has been a long 20 years since the Turtles last dazzled us in game form. TMNT: Smash Up trailerThough it’s not exactly promoting hearts and love here on Valentine’s Day, the latest trailer for the upcoming TMNT game does promote fun!  TMNT: Smash Up, a brawl 25 years in the making, is Ubisoft’s latest take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting game.  The Nintendo Wii game is said to play similarly to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the latest trailer just begins to hint at the fun!  Check out the video below, after the break.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FightersNew screen shots have been revealed for the upcoming TMNT game that we talked about a few weeks back.  Still little is known about the four-player fighting game, which features the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as their enemies and friends, in melee battles similar to the Super Smash Bros. franchise.  Check out some more of the screen shots after the break:

New TMNT Game Celebrates 25 Years Of Turtle Power

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ubisoft has detailed a brand-new video game based on the four turtles.  There does not appear to be an immediate connection to any of the TV series or movies, but it looks like the typical cast and crew are involved!  It is currently set to be released in the fall of this year.  Check out the full press release after the break!

The internet is buzzing about a new TMNT game, published by Ubisoft, in development for the Nintendo Wii’s “Wii Ware” channel.  The rumors, if they’re to be believed, say the game will be available in September of 2009, and feature all of our favorite Turtles with 4-player mode, a story mode, a battle royale, fighter mode, tons of stages and characters, and more!  Stay TOONed for more details!

A big-time studio is looking to bring a classic anime series to the big screen in the form of a live-action film.  And no, this isn’t more talk about Fox’s upcoming Dragonball flick.  This time, it’s Warner Bros. giving the anime Ninja Scroll a live-action makeover.  The people behind the film have been involved with Watchmen, a comic book turned movie, so there is at least a basis for greatness!  Anyone a long time fan of Ninja Scroll?  And, if so, how do you feel about the possibility of seeing your animaed series as a live action adventure?
