For roughly that same span, Cartoon Network fans have been digging the anime toon Pokemon Black and White. Many have called the cartoon series and the games the best in the franchise. But that hasn’t stopped Nintendo from prepping, planning, and working on the next big Pocket Monster adventures. And now, thanks to some extra crafty hyper fans out there, we may have just crept up on the next big thing: Pokemon Gray.

(You have to say it like: “Three-ee-ee DEE-ee-ee”). This week, fans who own a Nintendo 3DS are able to get a sneak peek look at the production entitled Monsters vs. Aliens: Night of the Living Carrots. Broadcast free as part of the Nintendo Video channel, the hope is not only to expand the audience Nintendo can reach with their 3D service, but also introduce yet another chapter to the Monsters vs. Aliens franchise.

Through the years, they’ve seen many chapters come and go, always with mascots from the House of Mouse, but there’s always an urge to return to what they’ve enjoyed in the past. Truth be told Tetsuya Nomura, the game’s producer, often feels the same, revealing he’d love to see Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You. So will Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance deliver on that? What will this mean for a future series or sidequest? Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D becomes ChipWrecked

Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D becomes ChipWrecked

Few things sound more enjoyable than taking a trip around the tropics on a luxury cruise ship. Unless, of course, there’s constantly the angry yelling of the phrase, “Alvin!!!” in the background. With that in mind, you’ll likely not want to board with Alvin, Simon, and Theodore this December, when they cast off in the latest 3D adventure, Alvin and the Chipmunks ChipWrecked. The film, formally titled Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D, follows the Chipmunks and the Chipettes (Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor) turning the cruise ship into their personal playground until they become shipwrecked on a desert island. As David Seville searches frantically, the 6 critters do their best waiting for rescue by singing, dancing, and generally rocking the island! Oh, and maybe there’s some buried treasure. We’ll see.

Working alongside with Twentieth Century Fox and Bagdasarian Productions, Majesco will bring a brand new video game title based on the film, bearing the same name: Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. Available on the Xbox 360 Kinect, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS a few weeks prior to the film’s December 16th box office release, the Behavior Interactive game allows fans to sing and dance with the Chipmunks and Chipettes. Hopefully, just in your living room and not abandoned on a desert island.

Pokemon 3DS is Super Pokemon Rumble 3DS

Pokemon 3DS is Super Pokemon Rumble 3DS

Ever since Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS, fans everywhere have been (not-so) patiently waiting for the obvious big reveal: a 3D Pokemon title. Until now, we haven’t gotten so much as a hint of a Pokemon 3DS. That is, until just this week, when Nintendo finally announced Nintendo 3DS Pokemon …Rumble! Wait, what? That’s right, the first real batch of Pokemon to hit the Nintendo 3DS isn’t a true Pokemon game at all, but rather a full sequel to the WiiWare title, Super Pokemon Rumble (aka Super Pokemon Scramble). The basic premise: you’re in a world filled with Pokemon toys. There’s no turn-based battles to speak of, but there is fighting, and there is collecting, as you send off your various Pocket Monsters in real-time action against foes like Zekrom.
