Pepper's Ghost Productions presents Tiny Planets

Tiny Planets is amongst the United Kingdom’s more unique animated creations. The 5-minute episodes are perfect to grasp those with short attention spans; and with more than 65 in the archives, those with longer attention spans can string whole series together. The toon follows Bing and Bong on their adventures in the Tiny Universe, on an icy planet. Using a fluffy white sofa, the pair catapult across the solar system, exploring the various scientific mysteries: light, color, sound, etc. The CG cartoon, produced by Pepper’s Ghost Productions, Ltd, has appeared in the US on Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, and Noggin. Never seen it? Take a look at now!

The network aims to air more than 200 new episodes every year of new and existing series, such as Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, and Imagination Movers, amongst others.

Support Nick’s Big Green Help

Support Nick's Big Green Help

Joining Nickelodeon in the efforts to make tonight’s Earth Day moment a lasting symbol, New York’s Empire State Building, Chicago’s Sears Tower, and Seattle’s Space Needle will support Nick’s Big Green Help by turning off their lights at 9pm. For 60 seconds, everything will go dark — and Nick asks everyone to do the same at home (I will!). Nickelodeon, Noggin, Nicktoons Network and The N will also have nothing on the air for one minute at 9pm for the event.

Nickelodeon celebrates Earth Day

Nickelodeon celebrates the planet on Earth Day, April 22nd, with new green-themed episodes of iCarly and True Jackson, VP, The Wonder Pets!, Olivia, and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Noggin will also be showing green-themed episodes of Toot & Puddle, Yo Gabba Gabba! and Pinky Dinky Doo throughout the day. Both channels will also run segments with kids and what they are doing to protect the environment.  Me, I’m watching cartoons instead of polluting! 🙂
