Adventure Time Creator Draws Sailor Moon

The return of the Sailor Moon anime franchise made a lot of people nostalgic, particularly people who’s first exposure to anime occurred during the 90s. Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward seems to be a fan as well, as he has recently tweeted a sailor moon drawing, which he claims to have drawn perfectly “from memory.”

As expected of Ward, the drawing is done in his unique style – what came out is basically the type of Sailor Moon that would fit in with the Adventure Time and the Bravest Warriors universe. You can check out the drawing below:

Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season Clip: What Was Missing?

This coming February 25, Cartoon Network will be releasing Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season on Blu Ray and DVD, and in order to give you a glimpse of what to expect, they have posted a new clip titled “What Was Missing?,” which will reveal exactly what BMO’s real treasure is. You can check out the clip below:

If the clip got you properly excited, make sure you set aside some rackspace for the Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season for when it hits retail (again, February 25, 2014, mark it down.) The set will contain all 26 episodes from the series’ third season, as well as a bunch of must-have bonus features, such as an alternate show intro and episode commentaries for all 26 episodes and an interview with series creator Pendleton Ward.

It’s not just on-disc bonus content that make Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season worth getting, as the set comes in a special custom die-cut BMO slipcase, making it a boon for collectors. The set will retail under the MSRP of $32.07 and $26.95 for Blu-ray and two-disc DVD, respectively.

This coming February, you might want to take a raincheck on any post-Valentine related plans to go outside, as you’ll need all the free time you have for an Adventure Time home video marathon. Reason: Cartoon Network will be releasing Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season on Blu-Ray and DVD formats this coming February 25.

Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season is not going to be your normal home video release, because it will come packed in a custom Collectible BMO Die-Cut Slipcase, and will also have some nifty bonuses such as an interview with series creator Pendleton Ward and an Alternate Show Intro. Of course, the meat and bones of the release is the entire 26 episodes that make up the show’s 3rd Season, amounting to over Four Hours of the most mathematical experience you’ll ever have at home.

Fans of Pendleton Ward’s extremely popular animated comedy-fantasy series, Adventure Time, will have something to look forward to in 2014, namely the release of Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season on DVD and Blu-Ray formats.

Scheduled for a Febuary 25, 2014 release, the Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season home video collections will include all 26 episodes of the show’s run during 2011-12, which includes several of the episodes that have since gone on to become fan favorites and staples of top lists, including the two-part Holly Jolly Secrets and the gender-swapped episode Fionna and Cake.

Fans of Pendleton Ward’s hit animated fantasy comedy series Adventure Time should rejoice, as D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises has just released a new game titled Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!

Notice how I used the term “fans” instead of specifying only the ones who own a specific gaming device? It’s because Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! is a multiplatform release that will cover a wide range of devices and platforms including the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PS3. If you’re reading this from your PC, you’re also covered because there is also a Windows port. There’s a Nintendo 3DS port, which is going to be cheaper at $29.95 SRP compared to the $39.95 SRP that the other ports command (though there is a $39.95 Collector’s Edition that includes a limited edition BMO package design in a glossy premium SteelBook case, and a bonus DVD.)

Bravest Warriors’ Second Season to Premiere on Youtube

Season 2 of Frederator Studios’ breakout animated hit Bravest Warriors is debuting today via the Cartoon Hangover Youtube Channel, opening with the special premiere episode titled “Aeon Worm.” The 2nd season premiere will pick up where the season 1 finale “Catbug” left off, with with the secret of the mysterious, unlockable door sent from the See-Through Zone where their parents have been trapped for two years.

The show is widely regarded and has enjoyed an instant fanbase because it was created by Adventure Time’s Pendleton Ward. Season 2 will continue to offer what fans expect from Ward, but they can also expect several quality yarns from Invader Zim creator Jhonen Vasquez and rising star Noelle Stevenson, who is best known for her Internet Comic Nimona. The roll-out of the new season is being supported by a multi-platform social media campaign across YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, Google + and Instagram.

Second Season of Bravest Warriors to Debut This Month

This coming October 17, Frederator Studios will be debuting all new episodes of their popular breakthrough series Bravest Warriors, exclusively on their Cartoon Hangover Youtube channel. The series was created by Emmy-nominated Cartoon Network veteran Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time) and the new season will consist of 12 x 5 minute episodes, with new installments debuting every other Thursday at 4pm ET.

Bravest Warriors follows the unorthodox and futuristic exploits of four teenaged costumed heroes as they trek their way across the universe in order to save all maner of adorable aliens. The quartet gets regular help from various fan favorite characters such as Catbug and Impossibear, and split their time between going on intergalactic adventures and chilling out in their invisible giant robot hideout.
