PGS Launches CG Series Based on PlayMobil’s Super Four

PGS Entertainment has recently acquired media rights to produce a new CG-animated series based on Playmobil’s popular brand of kids’ merchandise, Super Four. PGS is planning to represent the show in all territories, while production is being handled by Method Animation and Morgen Studios under a commission from France Televisions. The series will consist of 52 x 12 episodes as well as 3 specials.

PGS Buys Alvin and the Chipmunks Rights

According to a recent report by Kidscreen.com, PGS Entertainment has acquired the worldwide broadcast rights (excluding France and the US) to the upcoming 52 x 11 minute Alvin and the Chipmunks TV series. The new TV series based on the trio of musically-talented chipmunks will be CG animated and will be launched at this fall’s MIPCOM, with the TV premiere slated for early 2015. The series marks the Chipmunks’ return to the small screens after 20 years in hiatus.

PGS Announces New Worldwide Deals for Chaplin & Co.

Brand manager PGS Entertainment has recently announced a new batch of sales deals for the CG animated 3D series Chaplin & Co, which is produced by Method Animation, DQ Entertainment, MK2 TV, Fabrique d’Images and commissioned by France Télévisions and RAI Fiction.

Chaplin & Co. (104 x 6) is a new comedy series that follows the adventures of Charlie Chaplin and his best buddy, The Kid, as they find all new hilarious ways of getting into trouble and miraculously getting away from it as well.
