Nintendo has recently announced that gamers will soon be able to transfer any Generation V (Pokemon Black and White) Pokemon into the upcoming Nintendo 3DS series Pokemon X and Y, because this coming December 27, a couple of new apps called Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter will be released for free on the 3DS eShop.

The Pokemon Bank will allow Pokemon X and Y and Black and White owners to access the game’s save data and then upload their captured Pokemon to a cloud-based storage system via the Internet. The bank will allow for up to 3 thousand Pokemon over 100 boxes, and can be accessed any time.

Note that Pokemon Bank is free to download, but usage is subscription based. Users who download and set it up before February 1 will enjoy a 30 day free trial of the service, expiration of which will require sign up and a fee of $4.99 per year.

Pokemon Black Version 2 Arrives on the DS

Pokemon Black Version 2 Arrives on the DS

The sequel to the highly successful DS game Pokemon Black and White has finally arrived, and it’s launched on the Nintendo DS platform instead of being exclusive to the newer 3DS handheld, probably because Nintendo doesn’t want to neglect the gamers who have yet to upgrade and still play on their DSes.

Pokemon Black 2 is set in the same continuity as Pokemon Black and White, albeit in a different time. The game’s story is set roughly a couple of years after the events in Black and White and there are noticeable changes in the Unova region. There are new locations now open in the northeast and southwest parts of Unova, including the player’s new hometown, Aspertia City. The player will be given a choice to play as either the boy Kyouhei, or the girl Mei, and travel across the region in pursuit of the main rival, Hugh.

Pokemon Black and White 2 update 2

Pokemon Black and White 2

Game play has now been released!  You get to see a few minutes of game play for Pokemon Black and White2. A small battle with a rival, a wild Pokemon and between Kyurems new form and Reshiram. It seems Kyurems new forms are far more powerful than Reshiram and Zekrom alone. Kyurems Zekrom form (Black Kyurem), knows the move Freeze shock and his Reshiram form (White Kyurem), knows Ice Burn. There seems to be movement in more sprites. Including a new “antagonist” in the game, he seems to be interested in researching Pokemon strength.

Pokemon the Movie: Black Victini and Reshiram

Pokemon the Movie: Black Victini and Reshiram

Last week, a very small group of fans across America got to see the latest Pokemon movie in theaters, Pokemon the Movie: White Victini and Zekrom. Unfortunately, the screening only hit 200 theaters throughout the entire country – by comparison, large movie releases can be on as many as 4,000 screens, so don’t be too surprised if Pokemon the Movie wasn’t in your area. Regardless, the folks at Pokemon Company International have some good news for you: the second part of the feature, Pokemon the Movie: Black Victini and Reshiram, will air for free on Cartoon Network, December 10th at 7pm. So what is the premise?

Beheeyem, Duosion, and the Dream Thief

Beheeyem, Duosion, and the Dream Thief

Saturday, December 10th, is a big day for Pokemon fans. And, frankly, who isn’t a Pokemon fan at this point? Among the biggest bits of news is the fact that Cartoon Network will host a special airing of the feature Pokemon the Movie: Black Victini and Reshiram at 7pm. For those of you who caught the (very select) screening of Pokemon the Movie: White Victini and Zekrom last week, you’ll be happy to continue the saga. For everyone else (and that’s most of us) welcome to yet another awesome Pokemovie! But first, there’s an all new episode of Pokemon Black and White to kick off the Saturday Morning run! When the group encounters a Beheeyem, a psychic type Pokemon, you’ll be sure to get lost in thought!

Purrloin, Sweet or Sneaky hits Black and White

Purrloin, Sweet or Sneaky hits Black and White

On Saturday morning, December 3rd, Pokemon enters a new era. We’re past Gold and Silver. We’re past Black and White. This time, we’re rocking out Purrloin, Sweet or Sneaky! With Meowth still a central character on Ash’s team, everything in the world of Pokemon seems upside down and backward. When the group stumbles upon a Purrloin Pocket Monster with a troubled past, each and every one of them falls for the Pokemon’s devious charms. As much as you might be yelling at your TV while watching Cartoon Network, there’s honestly nothing you can do. That is, nothing you can do except for Cilan, who sees the ploy for what it is, and knows Purrloin to be a rabble rouser.

Away from Team Rocket, we see Meowth’s Scrafty Tactics

Away from Team Rocket, we see Meowth's Scrafty Tactics

On Saturday, November 26th, Pokemon Black and White gives us a taste of just how low down and dirty Meowth really is. Separated from the rest of Team Rocket, you might suspect the Pokemon to be a little pacified, or maybe even nice! Well, I mean, come on, he’s sort of like an adorable little cat. But, I guess after watching Me-Mow tear up Finn and Jake in the latest episode of Adventure Time, it would be wise of Ash and company not make the same mistakes! Ash, being the nice guy that he is, notes the injuries Meowth is sporting and decides its as good a time as any to have him join the team – even calling him into action when an angry Scrafty Pocket Monster captures Axew. Is Meowth really working with the good guys now…?

Here it is; go time. We’ve reached the final match in the Nimbasa Town Club Battle – and wouldn’t you know it, Ash has qualified! Sure, we’ve been watching him try to become a Pokemon Master Trainer for the past 15 years or so, but maybe, just maybe, the boy is making some progress this Saturday Morning. So who will he be facing this time? Georgia the Dragon Buster? Team Rocket? Some new, evil villain, like Dr. Eggman or something? What about… Iris!? Can this happen? Can friend go against friend? TOON in to Pokemon Black and White on Cartoon Network this November 19th for Club Battle Finale: A Hero’s Outcome, to find out!

The Club Battle Hearts of Fury: Emolga Versus Sawk!

The Club Battle Hearts of Fury: Emolga Versus Sawk!

This Nimbasa Town has proven to be a pretty intense place. With all of the crazy Club Battles going on, it’s difficult to even catch your breath. Last week, we saw Cilan and Dwebble go up against Trip and Gurdurr, then Luke versus Scooter, Iris versus Jimmy Ray, and a quarter final battle between Ash’s Snivy and Georgia, the Dragon Buster, with Pawniard. With more on going battles between the world’s fiercest Pokemon Masters and Pokemon Trainers duking it out, the action keeps on moving! TOON in to Cartoon Network, Saturday Morning November 12th at 9am for the all new episode of Pokemon Black & White, The Club Battle Hearts of Fury: Emolga Versus Sawk!

Cilan Versus Trip, Ash Versus Georgia

Cilan Versus Trip, Ash Versus Georgia

Though it’s not Nimbasa City, Nimbasa Town has turned out to be more formidable than previously thought! There is a battle raging on, with many of the world’s fiercest Pokemon Masters and Pokemon Trainers duking it out. The next battle up features our pal Cilan and Dwebble versus our old rival Trip and Gurdurr. With the heavy evolutionary advantage in place, does Cilan stand a chance for our side? Next up, we have Luke versus Scooter and Iris versus Jimmy Ray – but most importantly, we’re awaiting the quarter final matchup between Ash and Georgia. We already saw what Georgia can do in her battle with Iris, so does Ash stand a chance…? TOON in to Cartoon Network, Saturday Morning November 5th at 9am for the all new episode of Pokemon Black & White, Cilan Versus Trip, Ash Versus Georgia!
