Teaser for Pokemon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution Act III

If you’re still reeling from the recent trailer for The Archdjinni of Rings: Hoopa, you might want to un-reel a bit because you’ll be reeling a little bit more as a new trailer has just been posted for the Pokemon XY Specials. This time around, it’s for Pokemon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution Act III, which is cheduled to air at 7pm JST on March 19, 2015 on TV Tokyo and its affiliate stations.

Super Smash Bros. Will Feature a Pokemon X/Y Stage

Contrary to initial speculation, there will be some notable differences between the Nintendo 3DS port of the next Super Smash Bros. game, compared to the Wii U version (besides the smaller screen and the 3D, of couse). A few days ago, it was revealed that the 3DS version will have a stage based on Animal Crossing, and now director Masahiro Sakurai has revealed an even better stage that’s going to show up on the portable version.

Upcoming Pokemon Movie to Introduce New Pokemon, Diancie

There are some teasers for the next Pokemon anime film on the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine, namely the introduction of a brand new Pokemon named Diancie. The title of the film will be Pokemon XY: Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie, which obviously implies that Diancie will be the main focus, and that it will be based on the Pokemon XY series.

Pokemon the Series: XY Debuts on Cartoon Network on January 18

The 17th season of the Pokemon animated series, Pokemon the Series: XY, will be debuting on Cartoon Network this coming January 18, Saturday, at 8:30 AM ET/PT. The series will be following protagonist Ash Ketchum as he explores the Kalos region, which is an all new region full of never before seen Pokemon.

As expected of a series that has always been about friends and the bonds that they form with each other, Pokemon the Series: XY will feature new friends accompanying Ash on his adventures, including a genius inventor named Clemont, his little sister Bonnie, and the novice trainer Serena. Of course, Ash will have his trusty Pikachu by his side, helping him and explore this new region, meeting new types of Pokemon, and solving a bunch of new Pokemon mysteries!

A new trailer has just been released for the upcoming Pokemon XY anime, which will coincide with the release of its Nintendo 3DS game namesake, Pokemon X and Y. The new series will follow Mayuki Makiguchi as Serena, Kaji Yuki as young inventor Citron (Clemont in English) and Mariya Ise as Eureka (Bonnie in English), a girl without her own Pokémon, who “keeps” Citron’s for him, and keeps an eye out for finding him a future wife.

New Cast Introduced in New Pokemon XY Anime Promo

TV Tokyo has recently released a video preview for the upcoming Pokemon XY, which is set to debut on October 16th, and will be based on the latest installment in the handheld game franchise, Pokemon X and Y.

The video introduces the cast members, which include Mayuki Makiguchi as Serena,Yuki Kaji as young inventor Citron (Clemont in English) and Mariya Ise as Eureka (Bonnie in English), a girl without her own Pokemon, who “keeps” Citron’s for him, and eyes an eye out for finding him a future wife.

Pokemon X and Y Will Get Special 3DS XL Bundles

Nintendo has recently showcased a couple of special 3DS XL bundles for Pokemon fans in Japan, sporting sleek designs based on the X/Y themes. The first one is dubbed the “Xerneas-Yveltal Blue” 3DS XL system, which is modeled after the legendary Pokemon of the same names and sports a blue casing with a bold X/Y background and a foreground featuring the aforementioned legendaries. The bundle will retail for 22,000 yen (approx. $220) and will come packed with a 4GB SDHC card and a copy of either Pokemon X or Y.

New Pokemon XY TV Series Scheduled for October in Japan

A new announcement has just revealed that TV Tokyo and its branch stations will be broadcasting a new addition to the Pokemon TV series, coinciding with the newest game in the franchise, titled Pokemon XY. The new series will be exclusive to Japan for now, and is slated to debut on October 17, after the on-going TV series Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes! Season 2: Decolora Adventure.
