Video: Sanjay and Craig – Barfy’s Babies

Nickelodeon’s hit animated comedy series Sanjay and Craig will be returning for its second season this Saturday, September 20 at 10:30 am. The episode as per usual will consist of two stories, with the first one titled “Barfy’s Babies,” in which Sanjay and Craig try to find the “hook” to help a boring puppy find a home, followed by “Butts Up Club,” which follows the duo as they turn a mundane schoolyard game into a mythic quest involving a girl in trouble, Darlene, and a villain named “Butt Master.”

Nickelodeon has released a preview clip from the episode, which shows Sanjay and Craig arguing over a puppy that everyone except Craig finds to be a little bit too smelly. You can watch the clip below:

Preview for Second Part of Guardians of the Galaxy on Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers

We have previously blogged about Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers’ introduction of the Guardians of the Galaxy into the series, which comes via a two-episode story arc that is scheduled for release on September 10th and 17th, which coincides with the film’s September 13th Japanese theatrical debut. Now, a new promo video has just been released for the second half.

Preview for Masaaki Yuasa’s Adventure Time Episode

During last weekend’s Adventure Time panel at Wondercon, it was announced that Mind Game and Kick-Heart director Masaaki Yuasa will be writing, storyboarding, and directing an episode of Cartoon Network’s hit fantasy comedy cartoon, Adventure Time. The episode will be titled “Food Chain,” and will not be considered canon. You can check out the sneak preview below:

Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction English Dub Preview

A new English dub preview has just been released for Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, which is the latest Pokemon anime film scheduled to debut in Japanese theatres on July 19. The film has not been licensed outside of Japan yet, but the English dub should at least give you an idea on what to expect once it gets here:

New Short Film Previews Upcoming Dreamworks Film: Home

Recently, Buzzfeed released an exclusive CG animated short titled “Almost Home,” which serves as a preview for an upcoming full length feature from DreamWorks titled “Home,” which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 26, 2014.

Almost Home focuses on a group of aliens called The Boov, which is lead by Captain Smek (voiced by Steve Martin.) The Boovs are searching for an ideal habitat for their species, but as expected, finding a new home in the vast reaches of outer space is not as easy as it looks on paper.

Preview for Sgt. Frog Flash Anime Released

Mine Yoshizaki’s hit comedy manga and anime series Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunso) will be returning to the small screens on March 22 via a new anime series, which will also feature the return of the original voice cast (except for Fuyuki Hinata, whose original voice actor was replaced after passing away from ovarian cancer). The new anime will still be under Sunrise and will be directed by Haruki Kasugamori instead of Junichi Sato. You can check out the preview video below:

Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 to Debut on The Hub Network on February


This coming February, Stan “The Man” Lee’s latest animated movie, Stan Lee’s Mighty 7, will be making its grand debut on the Hub Network. Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 is part of a trilogy from Stan Lee Comics and features an all-star cast that includes Sean Astin (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy), Jim Belushi (“The Defenders”), Mayim Bialik (“The Big Bang Theory”), Darren Criss (“Glee”), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Armie Hammer (“The Lone Ranger”), Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”), Michael Ironside (“Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising”) and Christian Slater (“Breaking In”). Stan Lee himself will be part of the cast, playing himself.

This is some of the best episodes they have ever done. Those of you who watched it on Adult Swim know what we’re talking about. From the new opening, where the chicken turns the tables on the mad scientist, to the mashup of Shirt Tales and Red Tails, to Wilson the volleyball from Castaway, to the Robot Chicken version of how they really found Bin Laden, you will laugh yourself silly throughout the whole home video version of Season 6.

Beware the Batman Premieres Next Month


Some people will remember that Beware the Batman was announced months ago, and that Toonbarn has already covered its supposed release. The series was delayed, as Warner has admitted that they wanted to do some more work on it, to ensure that Batman fans will get a really good show worthy of the franchise name (although some fans have speculated that it was retooled and delayed in order to avoid controversy, since it was originally going to be released so close to the Dark Knight shooting incident).
