Radical Sheep Shows to be Distributed by Picture Box


Canada’s Radical Sheep Productions has recently signed a distribution deal that will give Picture Box Productions rights to represent Radical Sheep’s extensive library of shows worldwide. Under the deal, Picture Box will be representing the worldwide rights to the new series Yup Yups from Disney Junior Canada, and The Bagel and Becky Show, in development with Teletoon Canada.

Additionally, Picture Box will also be collaborating with Radical Sheep on the development of a number of other new shows and established titles such as The Big Comfy Couch, Panda Bear Daycare, Amigo and Me and Land O Hands.

Radical Sheep’s Yup Yups Goes Multiplatform


Radical Sheep Productions and Industrial Brothers Canada have recently announced the launch of Yup Yups on multiple platforms this month. Starting on September 16, 2013 at 7:25 pm ET, the 3D animated series will air regularly on Disney Junior Canada with a new episode premiering every week. The premiere will be supported by two apps that will debut on Android and Apple devices on the same month.

The Yup Yups series was created by Matthew Fernandes of Industrial Brothers, and features 3 lovable siblings that can change into silly and magical forms using communication of feelings. An episode will be featured at the Ottawa International Animation Festival/TAC on September 19th and 21st.

The apps, Yup Yup’s Play Park (Free) and Yup Yup’s Toybox ($1.99), will entertain kids of all ages with endless fun. Play Park let’s kids pick what their favourite character will transform into. Toybox contain four mini-games: Music Box, The Big Race, Balloon Game and Bubble Game. More games will be available on Disney Junior Canada’s website later this month.
