A couple of new videos were recently released for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game One Piece Unlimited World: Red, which is based on Eiichiro Oda’s long-running shonen franchise, One Piece. The game is the fourth installment in the Unlimited series and covers the Punk Hazard Arc while also providing an exclusive game-only storyline.

One Piece Unlimited World: Red follows the same battle and adventure gameplay elements from the Unlimited series with the addition of a brand new co-op adventure. It is also worth noting for featuring a handful of new characters designed by Oda himself, such as Red (voiced by Masachika Ichimura), Pat the raccoon (voiced by TARAKO), and Yadoya (voiced by Rumi Hiiragi). Oasis Animation and Toon Boom Animation ready Lucky Fred for Disney

Lucky Fred just got… well, lucky. In an enhanced effort to bring the brand new toon to the Disney Channel across the globe (in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, India, and Australia) producers at Oasis Animation and Toon Boom Animation have added 70 new jobs, doubling their workforce, and all dedicated to readying the show. Co produced by Imira Entertainment, the series follows the adventures of a young boy and his intergalactic robot, which is able to change into anything Fred desires. The bot’s formal title, a Reality Enhancement Drone, explains one of the reasons Fred is always so lucky. Originally conceived of by Myriam Ballesteros, 13-year-old Fred and R.E.D. (Lucky RED?) are an unlikely pair of best friends, who use decision making, planning, and a great imagination on their daily adventures.

Megamind rules the box office for Dreamworks

Megamind rules the box office for Dreamworks

He spanned roughly 4,000 theaters, across nearly 7,500 screens. He’s been shown in 2D, 3D, and if it were possible, 4D and 5D! But perhaps the biggest accomplishment of them all thus far, he’s lead the box office for two consecutive weeks. His name? Megamind. The icon of DreamWorks Animation has kept the CG animated toon in first place, battling the Alien Monster indy Skyline and Iron Man’s Robert Downey Jr. in Due Date. Megamind even stopped Denzel’s new film ironically named Unstoppable! The 10 day total for Megamind rests at just below $100 million, just behind the pace set by DreamWorks’ other 2010 release, How to Train Your Dragon. Check out the full box office ranking list from the past weekend!

Megamind dominates box office for DreamWorks

Megamind dominates box office for DreamWorks

DreamWorks pulled out another winner! This weekend, the latest CG animated toon to hit the big screen walked away with the prize as the box office crowned Megamind. The action adventure flick from DreamWorks Animation takes the traditional comic book super hero story line and twists it on its side, pitting the famed super villain in the heroic role. The result? Millions of fans flocking to theaters, to the tune of $48 million in just the first weekend. Launching in nearly 4,000 theaters, Megamind continues to trend that How To Train Your Dragon started for Dreamworks earlier in the year; namely a top-ranking debut. Have you seen it yet?

Play the Red Remover game

Red Remover

Your goal in Red Remover is to remove the red shapes without letting green shapes fall off the screen. …sounds simple. And, at first, it is. But trust me, it gets a bit trickier as the game goes along. See if you can just get up to level 10, then you’ll understand what I’m talking about. And if you can get all the way up to Red Remover’s level 45? Well, consider me impressed, cuz I’ve never even seen it done!! Play this game now!
