Bugs gets buzzed and Daffy patrols on Off Duty Cop

Bugs gets buzzed and Daffy patrols on Off Duty Cop

A decent part of tonight’s Looney Tunes Show episode will feature the transformation of Daffy Duck, from mildly annoying roommate to mildly annoying pretend detective. Bugs, on the other hand, is going through his own transformation. Never passing up an opportunity to spout “What’s up, Doc”, Bugs heads in to the doctor’s for a routine checkup when he discovers his caffeine intake is too high. Maybe there’s something wrong with 50 cups of coffee a day, who knows. Upon the doctor’s recommendation, Bugs tries to calm his caffeine rages a bit, hoping a switch to Yosemite Sam’s new energy drink, called Spargle, will do the job. Days of sleepliness later, and Bugs realizes he’s cleaned everything he owns and taken care of a year’s worth of chores in just a few hours. Maybe this isn’t the best substitution.

Daffy rules as the The Wizard

Daffy rules as The Wizard on Cartoon Network's The Looney Tunes Show

It’s certainly not “Duck Season!” Through the decades, Daffy has been an adventurer and comedian, but we don’t ever recall him inheriting super human powers and immensely powerful magic abilities. At least, not yet this season. And, with all that said, here he is, starring in this week’s Merrie Melodies short on The Looney Tunes Show as The Wizard. The animated short will appear as part of Sunday Night Slice, the September 13th episode at 8pm. From the looks of these teaser screen grabs and images, we don’t think Bugs will get too upset next time Daffy eats all the chips.

Oscar's Oasis a ratings hit for Disney, TeamTo, Cake, and Tuba

Cake Entertainment certainly knows how to create a winner! From chickens to Popy, Buck, and Harchi, it often seems like Oscar can’t catch a break, despite all his beset efforts to just catch flies and find water. The new CG toon has found a great home on the Disney Channel in many markets, like Asia and Australia, with plans to expand through out Europe and North America soon enough. So, if you’re not one of the lucky few who gets to enjoy one of the 78 new episodes every week, check out these clips and let us know what you think

The Looney Tunes Show Peel of Fortune has Daffy strike it rich

On July 12th, Daffy Duck strikes it rich! Or, at least, for a little while. That’s the premise of the latest episode of The Looney Tunes Show, Peel of Fortune, which once again pits Daffy and Bugs against one another. Seeing Bugs lavishly spend his money on TVs, furniture, and other fun products, Daffy decides he’s going to steal one of Bugs Bunny’s big ideas, and turn it into a get-rich-quick scheme. Has to work out perfectly, right? C’mon, that’s not the Daffy Duck way! Then, Lola Bunny stars in Merrie Melodies, singing “We Are In Love,” which doesn’t sound stalker-ish at all, does it. And, of course, there’s the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner CG animated short, Heavy Metal, which sounds like a plot for the upcoming Iron Man 3 film! TOON in to Cartoon Network tomorrow at 8pm to see it all go down.
