Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Comic-Con Teaser Will Be Con-Exclusive

If you did not attend the San Diego Comic-Con this year but kept yourself updated through other people’s updates on social media, chances are you’ve managed to catch a clip or two of the Batman v. Superman teaser that was shown to the attendees, and chances are that clip is already gone now after being taken down by the copyright holders or the hosting provider. Turns out you’ll most likely never see that clip again.

Reason: Warner Bros. President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Sue Kroll, has stated that the clip will never be officially released online, as it is meant only for fans dedicated enough to attend the Comic-Con:

Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics Interviews from SDCC

Necessary Evil: Supervillains of DC Comics documentary arrives in stores on October 25

Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics is a documentary that delves into the psyche of DC Comics Villains, and contains interviews with over 40 people who have directly or indirectly been involved in the DC Universe over the last 50 years. The documentary was Co-Produced and Co-Directed by Scott Devine and J.M. Kenny, and is available TODAY, October 25th, on Blu-Ray, DVD and Combo Pack.

ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell was in the audience at the panel that was presented at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer. During that panel, they showed the first 22 minutes of the documentary, which was narrated by Christopher Lee. His voice gives you chills every time you hear him. Before the panel, Marc had some deep discussions with Scott Devine, J.M. Kenny and Kevin Shinick about what makes these characters so evil, how they came to be that way, and why they are so necessary to the stories told about our favorite heroes of DC Comics.

Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel Debuts Tonight on Disney Channel

Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel debuts tonight at 8 PM ET on Disney Channel

Phineas And Ferb: Mission Marvel is a special 1-hour episode which airs tonight (Friday, August 16), at 8 PM ET on Disney Channel. This is the first crossover between the Phineas and Ferb characters and the Marvel Superheroes. If you want to know why Captain America is missing, and Spiderman is on the team, it all has to do with Phineas and Ferb creators Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh playing favorites. They like Spiderman. Captain America… not so much. I think we all agree Spidey has more opportunity for hilarious one-liners than Cap.

According to Dan Povenmire, the challenge for this crossover, or any crossover for that matter, is pleasing fans of both camps. He has talked about it in interviews leading up to tonight’s debut on Disney Channel. Doing something Marvel fans may think is cheesy or violates the characters would make fans upset. It had to work for both sides. We had a chance to see the episode on the Disney Channel iPad app, and we think it works perfectly.
