Adult Swim Releases Robot Chicken Season Finale Trailer

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block has just released a new trailer for the upcoming season seven finale of stop-motion comedy series Robot Chicken. The season finale is scheduled to air this coming Sunday, August 17 at 11:30 pm.

The season 7 finale is still a few days away but fans can now get a sneak peek at the chaos and hilarity that will ensue via an action-blockbuster style episode that has the mad scientist being turned into a cyborg in order to join forces with his mechanized poultry experiment.

This coming August 4, kids and families who love to watch educational and highly entertaining word-fueled adventures will need to stay tuned to PBS Kids as the Emmy Award-winning animated series from Scholastic Media, WordGirl, returns for its seventh season.

Season 7 of WordGirl will be heralded by a week of five “brain-ier” than ever episodes – each one inviting kids to join WordGirl and her friends as they battle the “cheesy” tactics and dastardly tricks of the local villain, Dr. Two Brains, while expanding their vocabulary along the way.

Robot Chicken Season 7 Greenlit

Robot Chicken’s multi-award winning creators and executive producers Seth Green and Matthew Senreich have announced at the NY Comic con that the series will return for its seventh season in 2013.

Robot Chicken first aired in February of 2005, and became one of Adult Swim’s top rating shows as it uses motion animated sketches to skewer pop culture figures and shows on a regular basis. The show is currently airing every Sundays at midnight on the Adult Swim.

Comedy Central has recently revealed additional details about the upcoming 7th season of the Emmy Award-winning sci fi comedy series Futurama. Matt Groening and David X. Cohen’s hit animated series will kick off on Comedy Central with two new back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, June 20, at 10 PM ET/PT. The total number of episodes that fans can expect will be 13 new half hour episodes, all chock full of awesome guest stars and hilarious story arcs.

Comedy Central is preparing a huge multiplatform promotional campaign for the seventh season of the hit animated show Futurama, which will start airing on June 20, 10 PM. Their first campaign is the special Countdown to Futurama Facebook page, which went live yesterday and will continue for 50 days, providing fans with exclusive content that includes teaser clips, character designs, episode stills, storyboards, and more. The Facebook countdown was kicked off with a sneak peek clip from the season premiere episode, entitled “The Bots and the Bees”.
