New Domestic Poster for The Peanuts Movie Released

We’re still a few months away from the theatrical release of The Peanuts Movie, but we can already expect a treat because 20th Century Fox is at the driver’s seat, bringing Charles M. Schulz cast of zany and hilarious characters to 3D animated life. In order to tide us over, a new domestic poster for the movie has been released, showing all the cast members comfortably seated in a theater. You can check out the poster after the cut:

Official Trailer for Sony’s Peanuts Movie

A bunch of pictures from Fox and Blue Sky’s upcoming CG animated adaptation of Peanuts is already floating around on the Internet, but for those of you who are skeptical of non-moving images and their ability to show a film’s quality, the official trailer has finally been released by Fox. And it’s in HD, too.

People who don’t want the franchise to turn into CG should be glad to know that it’s not trying to be realistic. In fact, the CG feels more like a cross between stop motion and the original 2D.

New Preview Images for Peanuts Movie

Fox and Blue Sky Studios have recently released a handful of new preview images for their upcoming CG animated Peanuts Movie. Based on the iconic comic strip and cartoon franchise from Charles M. Schulz, The Peanuts Movie marks the first time Snoopy and the gang will be portrayed in 3D Animation (okay, barring the 3D vigeogames.)

Based on the preview, the CG was used to portray a sleek cartoonish style instead of trying to depict the characters realistically. This bodes well for the production, as it means the visuals won’t get dated so easily.

Stars Celebrate Snoopy’s 30th Anniversary at Camp Berry Knotts

Last Thursday, June 26th, various celebrities and their families came to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA in order to celebrate Camp Snoopy’s 30th, which in turn is heralded by the launch of three brand new rides: Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer, Pig Pen’s Mud Buggles, and Linus Launcher. Additionally, the entire land of High Sierra fun, Camp Snoopy.
