M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender brings Nickelodeon's Avatar to 3D

On July 2nd, a mere 6 weeks from now, Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures will bring The Last Airbender to the big screen. The film is M. Night Shyamalan’s live action representation of Nick’s Avatar: the Last Airbender animated series, an American anime with manga style. As an added little bonus, and largely due to the amazing success of … well… every film that has come out in the past year or so, The Last Airbender is getting the 3D treatment. The movie promises to delight on all three dimensions now, reaching out into the audience, as long as you’re wearing those neat little glasses. What’s your thoughts on the whole “everything must be 3D” trend? It worked well for the other Avatar – do you think it will click with Nickelodeon’s version?
