Matt Lanter Cast as Aquaman in Next Justice League Animated Feature

It has been revealed that Matt Lanter, who provided the voice for Anakin Skywalker on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will be lending his voice for the king of the seas, Aquaman, in the next animated DC Universe feature – Justice League: Game of Thrones. As implied by the title, Aquaman will be playing heavily into the story of the feature.

Justice League: Game of Thrones will be picking up where last year’s Justice League: War left off. The Aquaman that’s going to be featured will be based heavily on the New 52 version of the character.

New Star Wars: The Clone Wars Clip – Secret Weapons

This coming Saturday, December 1st at 9:30am ET/PT on the Cartoon Network, a brand new story arc will unfold, featuring a refreshing focus on one of the most iconic characters in the franchise: R2 D2. Titled “Secret Weapons,” the episode will also feature a bunch of droids, but probably not the droids that we are looking for. Check out the clips released by Lucasfilm:

LucasFilm has just released a new preview clip for this week’s episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, titled “A Necessary Bond,” which brings back one of the more recognizable and unique villains of the prequels: General Grievous. And this time, he’ll be going up against Hondo Ohnaka as Grievous has decided to launch a full-scale attack on the pirate base on Florrum.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Returns with a New Clip – Revival

The hit CG animated Star Wars spin-off, The Clone Wars, will be returning this Saturday, Sept 29 at 9:30am, and to give you an idea on what to expect, a gallery of images and a couple of preview clips from the season premiere were released online.

The Season Five premiere episode is titled ‘Revival’, and will pick up where the season four finale left off, with Darth Maul and Savage Opress reunited and hellbent on revenge. They went on a galaxy-spanning quest to spread terror, forcibly recruiting Hondo and his pirates along the way as they invade planet after planet, on their way to bring the fight to the Jedi. Brave Jedi try to curtail the brothers’ reign of terror, only to realize that they’d have to fight for their lives instead.

The Clone Wars Season Finale: Maul comes face to face with Obi Wan

This is it, the moment fans are waiting for. Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul finally meet each other in the Season Finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars this March 16, Friday, 8PM ET/PT on the Cartoon Network.

For those in need of a recap, Darth Maul and Obi Wan first met each other in Naboo, during the events of The Phantom Menace. Maul faced both Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn and the young Obi Wan Kenobi. Maul was able to defeat Qui Gonn, and almost did the same thing to the jedi master’s padawan. It was only through luck that Kenobi was able to get the jump on Maul, cutting the sith lord and half and letting him fall to his death.

The Clone Wars: Escape from Kadavo

Star Wars: The Clone Wars returns with new episodes this week, with Friday’s episode serving as the epic conclusion to an exciting three-part story arc. Entitled “Escape from Kadavo”, the episode follows Anakin Skywalker as he tries his best to convince the Zygerrian Queen that she is nothing but a slave and a disposable pawn in an evil Separatist plot. General Kenobi, on the other hand, is stuck in the slave camps of Kadavo, a bleak predicament that is about to cross the line that separates Bad from Worse.
