CLIP: Teen Titans Go! – Rocks and Water

Warner Bros. Animation has just released a brand new teaser clip for the next episode of Teen Titans Go!, which is scheduled to air this coming Thursday, March 12, at 6:00/5:00c on Cartoon Network.

Titled ‘Rocks and Water,’ the episode features the Titans’ odd non-couple Raven and Beast Boy, as they deal with a topic that only teens and older might get: exes. In the episode, Raven and Beast Boy find out that their exes Terra and Aqualad are now dating each other. Will jealousy rear its ugly head and force the two Titans to work together and conspire against their former OoAs (Object of Affection)? You’ll have to tune in to find out. In the meantime, you can watch the preview clip and look at a couple of stills:

Toonbarn Character of the Week: Terra

deathstroke terra

The last episode of Teen Titans Go! featured Terra as a very important part of the story (basically, Terra took advantage of Beast Boy’s feelings in order to gain access to the Teen Titans’ secrets) so we felt that she deserves to be character of the week for, uhm, this week.

Now, there are a number of Teen Titans fans who dislike Teen Titans Go’s emphasis on situational comedy and sketches over action, and by extension also dislike the new versions of the heroes, including Terra. So it’s better if we start with the comic book version.

Terra getting popular enough to bring back as a major character in almost every TV iteration of Teen Titans is impressive, given that she was originally created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez as a side character with a finite lifespan. She was meant to be a traitor from the start and she was meant to die after a few issues.

New Teen Titans Go! Clip: Terra-ized!

A new clip has been released for the next episode of DC’s hit animated comedy series Teen Titans Go!, titled “Terra-ized!” The episode is scheduled to air this coming Tuesday, August 20, at 7:30 PM on Cartoon Network.

The episode puts Beast Boy front and center, as he falls under the delusion that villainess Terra is his new girlfriend. Never one to pass up an opportunity, Terra strings Beast Boy along and takes advantage of his feelings in order to gain access to all of the Titans’ secrets. Her ploy seems to have worked well enough to trick the entire team, with only Raven remaining suspicious – which is another problem unto itself, as the rest of the team believe that Raven is just being jealous.

The clip is provided below, featuring one of the scenes in which Terra tries to hack into the Titan Tower’s defense system, only to be caught by Robin. However, Beast Boy sticks up for her and tells the team his undoubtedly sugar-coated version of the events that lead to them being an item. Everyone, except for Raven, seems to be convinced.

Square Enix brings Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep to PSP this week

Square Enix brings Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep to PSP this week

Ten years before the first Kingdom Hearts game, the world of Disney, and the Land of Departure, is a much different place. Terra, Aqua, and Ventus are close friends, training under Master Eraqus as Keyblade-wielders. Through the adventures of Birth By Sleep, this trio runs against Xehanort and Vanitas, other Keyblade Masters, as well as the Unversed; creatures who feed from negative emotions. Dark and twisted, but could you expect anything less from Square Enix? The game, which has been selling like hotcakes in Japan since January, hits Sony PSPs across the English-speaking world this week: September 7th in the U.S., and September 10th across Europe. Exciting to Disney fans, the game includes numerous characters, including King Mickey, Yen Sid, Donald Duck, Goofy, Maleficent, and Pete, as well as Zack Fair and Moogles from the Final Fantasy games.
