Bucky Barnes Will Return for Captain America 3

After a strong performance at the box office with Captian America: The Winter Soldier, the team of Joe and Anthony Russo are back and currently hard at work on the development of the third installment in the franchise, Captain America 3. One of the latest information about the threequel is the confirmation that Bucky Barnes will be returning, although that seems hardly a surprise to people who watched The Winter Soldier.

GameLoft Developing New Mobile Game for Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Leading social and mobile game publisher Gameloft has recently collaborated with Marvel in order to develop a new smartphone and table game based on Marvel’s upcoming movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Serving as the official game tie-in to the super hero film.

“Marvel has been a longtime partner of ours, and we are once again happy to transform one of their blockbuster films into an immersive action game,” said Karine Kaiser, VP Marketing & Licensing at Gameloft. “Players can expect a truly involved Captain America experience, with many characters from both the movie and the comics.”

First TV Spot for Captain America: The Winter Soldier Released

Marvel has recently released the first ever TV spot for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It’s basically a condensed 30-second version of all the previous trailers, but it also contains a few new scenes that help shed some more light on the plot.

For instance, the TV spot now shows who exactly is driving the SUV that was targeted by the Winter Soldier, which may help explain why said driver has been shown by previous trailers to be recuperating in a hospital. You can watch the spot below:

Japanese Trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier

A new Japanese trailer has just been released for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and while it’s pretty much expected that the trailer will differ from the US one, it is still worth watching because there are a few new shots that we have not seen before.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick up where The Avengers left off, with Steve Rogers struggling with his life as a time-displaced soldier. He teams up with the Black Widow in order to battle a powerful new enemy who may have some connection with his past.

Marvel Starts Production on New Captain America Feature

Banking on the momentum started by their record-breaking blockbuster The Avengers, Marvel Studios has officially started production on their next highly anticipated release, Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Los Angeles, California, with additional locations set in Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington D.C.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier marks the return of Chris Evans (Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel’s The Avengers) as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America, along with Scarlett Johansson (Marvel’s The Avengers, Iron Man 2) as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson (Marvel’s The Avengers, Iron Man 2) as Nick Fury. In addition, film icon Robert Redford has joined the all-star cast as Agent Alexander Pierce, a senior leader within the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.
