More info on Cartoon Network's Punch Time Explosion for Nintendo 3DS

A few weeks back, ToonBarn teased the story of Cartoon Network’s upcoming fighting game Punch Time Explosion, that followed in the footsteps of TMNT Fighters and Super Smash Bros. by pitting 18 CN’s characters against one another. (Coincidentally, just days ago, ToonBarn broke with the story about Nickelodeon’s Super Brawl 2 — these toons must all hate each other!!). Now, as we get closer to the June 7th release date of Cartoon networks up-and-coming fighting game, made exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS (which, again coincidentally, ToonBarn is GIVING AWAY FOR FREE), Crave Entertainment and Papaya Studios are releasing a bit more info on the game. Check out the teaser trailer!

Pokemon Hits The U.K with Black & White Fever

Pokemon Black & White first hit UK airwaves in February 2011, leaving fans disappointed – not because it wasn’t good, but because there were only two episodes. Starting June 4th, CiTV will air two episodes of the new series at 11.00 am on Saturdays and Sundays bringing a whole new generation of UK fans into the Pokemon world. Raving Rabbids animated series gets CG animation from Ubisoft

Raving Rabbids animated series gets CG animation from Ubisoft

Years ago, Ubisoft created the Rayman franchise, destined to become one of video games most popular icons. As the years went by, and more titles were released, the Rayman universe branched out; introducing, then staring, a crazed mutant bunny army of enemies: the Rabbids. Raving Rabbids, to be specific. These screaming aliens were pushed to the forefront in this most recent generation of consoles, most notably the Nintendo Wii, where the games were filled with hilarious CG animated cut scenes. Early on, we suspected this could land the Rabbids their own cartoon. Thankfully, Ubisoft has heard our calls, delivering just that! 78 seven minute episodes (for 26 half hour toons) have been created, featuring the CG Rabbids in glorious 3D rendering. No official word yet on what channel will be their new home, but we can guarantee you’ll hear them screaming soon enough!

Voltron Force and THQ form a game partnership

Voltron Force and THQ form a game partnership

World Events Productions, Classic Media, and THQ are merging together to form something powerful. Recently, they’ve come together to create video games basic on the classic Voltron: Defender of the Universe series as well as Nickelodeon’s new CG Voltron Force, set to debut on Nicktoons in another few weeks. Just as Mattel begins to release the new Voltron toys, The Voltron video games are anticipated to debut this fall, following the premiere of Voltron Force series. Read on for the full press release

Teenage heroes like Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis, and Aqualad fill out the Young Justice roster, though producers claim that wont necessarily be the same lineup at the end of the year; supposedly, some will be cut, some new ones will be added, and some will have lost the fight against evil. Take a sneak peek look at some of the artwork and renders that we’ll be privy to soon enough
