Lucasfilm working on animated Star Wars series

Lucasfilm working on animated Star Wars series

George Lucas created the Star Wars universe. All of the jawas, all of the ewoks, all of the Jedis, and Darths, and Lightsabers. Lucas is the man with the plan behind it all. At least, most of the time. On occasion, for a variety of projects, he has brought in collaborators to help pen scripts. Whether its for a video game storyline, the Cartoon Network CG animated series Clone Wars, the prequel sequel marathons, or this latest project; an animated Star Wars series with a comedic take on the phenom. And who better to bring in for this than Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, who have parodied the Star Wars universe on their show several times before. “The Star Wars’ universe is so dense and rich; it’s crazy to think that there aren’t normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined,” Green said. “What do these characters do when they’re not overthrowing empires?”
