Joe: A Real American Hero, Conan the Adventurer, Men in Black: The series, Batman Beyond, Transformers Generation 1, and others. But they didn’t limit their offerings to 80’s and 90’s cartoons — instead, the Discovery and Hasbro venture broadcast original animated toons like: G.I. DHX brings Wildbrain and The Ricky Gervais Show home

DHX brings Wildbrain and The Ricky Gervais Show home

Wildbrain’s The Ricky Gervais Show has been tearing up the HBO scene, bringing some rare, but sorely needed, animation to the Home Box Office. Recently, DHX Media stepped in to acquire Wildbrain Entertainment, bringing the series and other IP (like Yo Gabba Gabba! and Higglytown Heroes) along with it. The Ricky Gervais Show is a cartoon recreation of a comedy audio show starring Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, and Karl Pilkington. The taped recordings are close to ten years old, initially broadcast on the radio overseas, then converted to a podcast before delving into the world of animation and bringing Wildbrain a great deal of success. Chimpanzee That!
