Young Justice SDCC Interviews with Greg Weisman, Brandon Vietti & Phil Bourassa

We are expecting 26 episodes for Season 3, entitled Young Justice: Outsiders. The premise for the new season is that the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.

CLIP: Teen Titans Go! – Multiple Trick Pony

Warner Bros. Animation has just posted a new clip for the next episode of Teen Titans Go!, which is scheduled to air this coming Thursday, March 19, at 6:00/5:00c on Cartoon Network. Titled “Multiple Trick Pony,” the episode will feature a guest star that will be easily recognized (and sorely missed) by fans of Young Justice.

In Multiple Trick Pony, Kid Flash drops by and makes it known that he wants to join the Titans, but he has to go through Robin first. Unfortunately, the Titans’ leader isn’t so keen on letting the young speedster join his crew because he considers Kid Flash to be a “one trick pony.”

CLIP: Teen Titans Go! – Let’s Get Serious

Warner Bros. Animation has just released a couple of new clips for the next hilarious episode of Teen Titans Go!, which is scheduled to air this coming Thursday, February 26 at 6:00/5:00c on Cartoon Network.

Titled ‘Let’s Get Serious,’ the episode is notable for featuring a completely different art style for the Titans, prompted by a meeting with Young Justice. The episode’s story has the members of Young Justice making short work of the HIVE while the Teen Titans are too busy cracking jokes. Of course, Robin doesn’t want his spotlight stolen so he convinces the team to buckle up and get serious.

Young Justice: Legacy Goes Live

Young Justice: Legacy Goes Live

Last year, Cartoon Network pulled the plug on one of the best animated shows (subjective opinion, but one that is shared by many Toonbarn readers) on their slate, Young Justice: Invasion, without much fanfare and with very little possibility of a return. Of course, nowadays people no longer even hope to see the series make a comeback after CN has also given the same treatment to several other fan favorite shows.

Some good news, though. While Young Justice won’t be coming back soon, fans will be able to chew on a new story bridging seasons 1 and 2 of the show, as Young Justice: Legacy was just released for the PC last Tuesday via Steam.

Young Justice: Legacy is a 3D isometric Action RPG that lets you control a hero from the 12 main characters and fight against various villains. Along the way, you’ll get a little bit of help from the big guys like Superman, Flash, and Batman.

You’ll hear some complaints from gamers saying that it’s just Justice League Heroes with Young Justice characters, but that’s an unfair and inaccurate description. Rather, Young Justice: Legacy owes more from the rival company’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance game, which is an admittedly more polished game than Justice League Heroes where gameplay is concerned. The complaints about launch day DLC is an entirely different subject, and one that I won’t comment on because I didn’t buy it.

A new clip and a ton of preview images have been released for this week’s episode of Young Justice: Invasion, titled “Complications.” The episode continues the Black Manta’s vendetta against Miss Martian, with Aqualad also encountering problems of his own.

In “Complications,” Black Manta has given Miss Martian only 24 hours to live, which may seem bad enough, but Aqualad actually has it worse – as he’s got Sportsmaster and Cheshire hunting him down. He may end up having even less time than Miss Martian.
