Teen Titans Go! Flashback Tonight! WonderCon Interviews!

Cartoon Network will be premiering a special two-part episode of Teen Titans Go! tonight at 6 PM EDT called Flashback, where it shows a flashback to how the Teen Titans first formed, and how Robin became the Robin we know him as today.

We also found out from interviewing Producers/Showrunners Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic at WonderCon 2018, this is the third time Teen Titans Go! has covered the origin of the team, and that this time it will be the official canon origin story… until they change it again.

Big Congrats to Teen Titans Go! on officially getting picked up for a 5th Season on Cartoon Network!

They also talked about Teen Titans Go! to the Movies, which is a feature-length film coming to theaters on July 27, 2018. Aaron & Michael gave us the scoop about Nicholas Cage playing Superman, and his son, Kal-El, playing the young Bruce Wayne.

We also interviewed Greg Cipes, who plays Beast Boy, and his dog Wingman, and Greg offered up his own flashback about how Beast Boy came to be and how he joined the team. He also talked about his episode with Beast Girl, played by Cree Summer, and one of his recent favorite episodes, the special 200th episode, where the voice actors meet their characters.

While we were at WonderCon, we saw the Teen Titans Go! panel, where they showed a full episode, called “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems“, which was enjoyed by the whole crowd, and that was followed by a Q&A session with Aaron, Michael and Greg (and Wingman).

ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell was there at WonderCon and has these interviews for you:

Don’t miss Flashback, the new two-part episode from Teen Titans Go!, tonight at 6 PM EDT. Also, make plans to see Teen Titans Go! to the Movies on July 27, 2018.

I am a Big Fan of all types of animation. Like a lot of things, the cream always rises to the top. My favorites have included Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, anything Pixar, Phineas and Ferb, Voltron Legendary Defender, and the DC/WB Animated Films. I have a lot of Old School favorites as well, such as Star Blazers, Voltron, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby Doo.
