Transformer’s Rescue Bots premieres on The Hub, Feb 18

If you’re a Transformer fan, then you better make sure that you’re free on February 18, since that is the day The Hub will debut the second season of Transformers Prime, followed by the premier of the all-new series Transformers Rescue Bots.

The premiere of Transformers Rescue Bots will be marked by two back-to-back episodes starting from 11:30 AM and at noon ET. Transformers Prime, on the other hand, is scheduled for an 8:30 pm ET airing, immediately followed by the network debut of 1986’s Transformers: The Animated Movie at 9PM ET

Transformers Rescue Bots is a new series that was created specifically to target the newer, and younger, generation of Transformers fans. The series features a group of Autobots that protect and try to learn about humans.

The second season of Transformers Prime deals with an in depth look into the mythology as both Decepticons and Autobots discover clues related to the secret artifacts of Iacon, Cybertron’s capital city.

Transformers: The Animated movie was originally released on theaters back in 1986, and is one of the milestones of the franchise, as it depicts an epic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, while a mysterious new villain named Unicron watches and plots from the sidelines. It also marks the first time fans will see a major character die in the series. The movie features the voices of Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle, and Orson Welles in his final film role.
