1980s ThunderCats Original Series heads to DVD

There’s a lot of that “ThunderCats Roaring” going on. It’s everywhere. The new series set to hit Cartoon Network later this year, there’s new video games, new toys, etc. But what about the old? Where the classic, 1980s, Original Series? Thankfully, for those clamoring for such a thing, Warner Home Video has not left you out in the cold like some sorta stray …dog. On July 12th, Warner will drop the first volume of the 1980s ThunderCats Original Series on DVD. The first volume contains twelve full-length episodes, complete with even newer packaging than WB’s last attempts, as well as including a super fan retrospective, starring Wil Wheaton, called “Feel the Magic, Hear the Roar: ThunderCats Fans Speak Out.”
