1980s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in HD, Fanimation

Nickelodeon may not be the only one with plans to rejuvenate the Turtles! Happy Dragon Pictures, a collection of super fans that include Davd A. Rose, decided they’d remake the opening sequence from the 1980s TMNT cartoon for an all new, HD look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The 1980s Team Green never looked better! We last saw those boys in 4Kids Entertainments Ninja Turtles “farewell,” Turtles Forever. TF told the story of the 4Kids’ era Turtles joining forces with the 80s gang, along with a few other TMNT groupings. But this recreation of the original intro is a pure (and wonderful) homage to just the original 80s toon that kicked off the Ninja Turtles 25 year run in animation – soon to be continued by the good folks at Nick. So take a look at this wonderful fanimation, and let us and them know what you think!
