Japanese retailers have recently started listing the DVD/Blu-ray of Digimon Adventure tri’s first chapter, titled “Saikai,” and have marked it for a December 18 release, roughly a month after the Japanese theatrical release. It is said that the first episode will clock in at 80 minutes.

The disc itself will be region free and will be heralded by a limited edition release that comes with a clear sleeve illustrated by character designer Atsuya Uki, along with a small version of the movie pamphlet. The DVD will retail for 7,560 yen while the Blu Ray will cost 8,640 yen.
