New J-Stars Victory VS+ English Video Shows Off Assists

Bandai Namco Games has recently posted a new promo video for the English version of J-Stars Victory VS+, this time designed to promote the 3D manga/anime brawler’s “craziest assists.”

Was never a fan of strike/team-up/assist systems in fighting games as it contributes to homogenizing characters (kinda like giving everyone teleport dodges – I’m looking at you Naruto games), but I’ll make an exception for J-Stars Victory VS+ because they look damn cool. And also because the game is only coming out for the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita (digital only), none of which I own, so my opinion probably isn’t worth anything in the discussion.

J-Stars Victory VS+ will be making its way to Europe on June 26, followed by an American release on June 30.
