NYCC: Disney Releases New Sizzle Reel for Big Hero 6
Marvel and Disney seemed intent on making a big splash at the New York Con, and one of their big reveals was a new sizzle reel for the upcoming CG animated feature Big Hero 6, which just so happened to also introduce a new song from Fall Out Boy: Immortals.
The new sizzle reel still features protagonists Hiro Hamada and his oafish inflatable robot Baymax (who will get his own suit of armor over the course of the film,) but also devotes a little bit of screen time to the other members of the ragtag team: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller), all of whom will get their own high tech suits designed to fight evil, and the movie’s got one heck of an intimidating villain, which we also get a glimpse of via the sizzle reel.
Directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams, Disney’s Big Hero 6 opens in theatres in 3D November 7, 2014.
