Total DramaRama gets sent to daycare on Cartoon Network, Teletoon

Call it Total Drama season 6, Total Daycare Drama, Total Drama Daycare, or its final name, Total DramaRama, the fact remains: Total Drama is back. Fresh TV’s popular animated reality franchise returns with a new spin. Total DramaRama re-imagines some of your favourite past contestants (plus Jude from 6teen) as toddlers in a daycare comedy.

The new series debuts September 1st on Cartoon Network at 9AM in the United States, with a special hour-long presentation. Total DramaRama will air regularly on Saturdays at 9AM. Those in Canada can catch the show on Teletoon beginning October 7th at 6:30PM.

Total Dramarama is the outrageous, unexpected and totally random prequel to Total Drama Island. The series re-introduces Total Drama Island cast members as four year olds in a daycare centre. While they might be small, their personalities aren’t. Inside these pint-sized bodies are hilariously familiar characters Duncan, Harold, Leshawna, Owen, Beth, Noah, Izzy, Jude, Cody, Bridgette, and Courtney, and they are not going down for their naps without a fight. Left in charge of this feisty bunch of four year olds is Total Drama Island’s scary but loveable Chef.

If you can’t wait, the first few episodes are now streaming for free on the Cartoon Network website and app. The first season consists of 52 eleven-minute episodes.

The Total Drama franchise celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. The first entry, Island, originally debuted in Canada on Teletoon on July 8, 2007. The series went on hiatus in 2015 after 5 seasons and a spinoff totaling 146 episodes.
