Shout! Factory to Release Transformers Prime: Season Two on DVD and Blu Ray

This coming November, Shout! Factory and Hasbro Studios will be releasong Transformers Prime: Season Two in both DVD and Blu Ray formats, featuring over 10 hours of action-packed Transformers action, along with a number of special bonus content.

The 4-DVD set will be out on November 20, 2012 while the 4-disc Blu Ray will be out on November 27, 2012 and will feature over 10 hours of content consisting of 26 episodes, and will follow the second season of the hit CG animated show.

Season two picks up where the last season left off. After the defeat of Unicron at the hands of Optimus Prime, the Autobots discover clues relating to the secret artifacts of Iacon, Cybertron’s Capital city. The significant discovery not only has the power to tilt the war in their favor, but also revive their long dead home planet.

The DVD will also contain a bunch of bonus content that includes OPTIMUS PRIME: Up Close and Personal Panel with Larry King and Peter Cullen from San Diego Comic-Con International 2012 and brand-new interviews with the series creative team. he 4-disc Blu-ray collection is priced to own at $ 59.99 SRP.
