Voltron Legendary Defender seasons 3-6 head to DVD this June

Following last year’s release of the first two seasons, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release seasons 3 to 6 of Voltron Legendary Defender on DVD. Priced at an MSRP of $22.98, the set will contain the 26 episodes in English, European French and Latin Spanish audio tracks, alongside an English subtitle track for the hearing impaired. It launches June 4th.

Voltron Legendary Defender picks up immediately following the events of Zarkon’s defeat as the Paladins struggle to recover with one of their own missing, leaving them unable to form Voltron. The team must quickly devise a plan as the ascension of Prince Lotor threatens to bring chaos to the entire universe.

Only by coming together, not just as Paladins but with the freedom fighters liberated from Gaira occupation, will they be able to bring the fight to their most formidable enemies yet.

Here’s a taste of the stories within:

The success of Zarkon’s defeat comes at a price: Shiro has vanished. With the ascension of the mysterious Prince Lotor and without a pilot for the black lion, the team must somehow find the strength to keep fighting. But how can they defend the universe without Voltron?

The series originally debuted on Netflix on June 10, 2016, and came to a close last December after 78 episodes. A re-imaging of the ’80s anime hit, Legendary Defender was produced by DreamWorks Animation Television in association with World Events Productions and Studio Mir.
